Abstract: Disclosed is a system to be combined to one or more rewinding machines (1) for forming reels or logs of web material wound around winding mandrels. The system, whose function is to prepare the winding mandrels with the related winding cores positioned thereon, comprises in combination: a robot (5) for extracting winding mandrels (A) from formed reels (BB); a cutting unit (7) for cutting tubes (T) for forming tubular winding cores (AT) of settable axial length; an insertion unit (9), for introducing the winding mandrels into a set of tubular winding cores.
Abstract: A system to produce rolls of web material includes: a production machine (1) to produce the web material; a winder (3) to form reels (B) of web material coming from the production machine; an unwinder (20) to unwind single reels of web material produced by the winder; a group of tools for longitudinal cutting of the web material to divide the web material into strips, including members to position the tools in a transverse direction with respect to the direction of feed of the web material; a rewinder (22) to rewind the single strips into rolls; a line for packaging (9) the rolls (R); at least one shuttle (11) to transfer groups of rolls formed by the rewinder towards the packaging line; and an information system for integrated management of the system.

Abstract: A device for dry forming a web of fibers. The device includes; a fiber distribution head (1); a forming wire (3) movable under the head; a suction means (5) located on the opposite side of the forming wire from the head; within the head, a chamber (9) into which a flow of gas, in which said fibers are suspended, is directed, the chamber having a bottom opening (9A) closed by a screen mesh (17) which is essentially parallel to the forming wire (3) and which faces the the forming wire; and agitator members (45) inside the chamber, above the screen mesh (17), for agitating and distributing the fibers. The screen mesh (17) is a continuous mesh, movable along a closed path around the chamber, the portion of the mesh parallel to and facing the forming wire moving along a path which is essentially parallel to the forming wire. Additionally, the agitator members comprise a plurality of rotating shafts (47) which are parallel to each other and orthogonal to the direction of advance (f3) of the forming wire.

The device comprises a duct (11) for fibers suspended in a gaseous flow, with an inlet (13) and an outlet (15). Abstract: The rewinding machine comprises: a first and a second lower winding roller (5, 7) defining a winding cradle for a reel (R) of web (N); a third upper roller (13) having a mobile axis (13) arranged over said first and second lower winding rollers and carried by two mobile slides (11) to allow for the increasing dimension of the reel under formation in said winding cradle. The two slides (11) carry two cylinders (21, 27) whose axes are parallel to the axis (13A) of the third upper roller (13) which are provided with a reciprocal approaching and distancing movement for either approaching or distancing the reel under formation in said cradle.
