Abstract: A short message processing method and apparatus, which analyzes a short message received from a mobile communication network and provides via a packet data service node (PDSN) a supplementary service such as a credit card settlement details notifying service, a contact point registration service, a spam filtering service, a schedule registration service, a message history management service, and so forth, based on the result of the analysis. The short message processing method and apparatus can execute a supplementary service corresponding to the short message received through a PDSN, in corporation with a platform such as WIPI or BREW.
Abstract: A multi-row LED wiring member includes a first plating layer, a second plating layer and a resin layer, to form individual wiring members arrayed in a matrix. In each wiring member, the first plating layer and the second plating layer constitute a laminated piece to form a pad portion and a laminated piece to form a lead portion. A first surface of the first plating layer is uncovered on a first-surface side of the resin layer. The second plating layer is formed on a part of a second surface of the first plating layer as being uncovered on a second-surface side of the resin layer. The laminated pieces substantially have a T-shape or L-shape as viewed from a lateral side. The first surface of the first plating layer is a surface of an Ag plating layer formed by removal of a metal plate, to maintain a good reflectance without brightener.
Abstract: A novel heterocyclic compound is provided. A highly efficient and reliable light-emitting element is provided. The heterocyclic compound is represented by a general formula (G1). In the general formula (G1), any one, two, or three of Y1 to Y4 in a ring A represent N atoms, and the rest of Y1 to Y4 represents CH. In the case where any two or three of the Y1 to Y4 are N atoms, the N atoms are not next to each other. Further, Ar1 represents a substituted or unsubstituted biphenyldiyl group, Ar2 represents a substituted or unsubstituted biphenyldiyl group, Cz1 represents a substituted or unsubstituted heterocyclic group including a carbazole skeleton, Cz2 represents a substituted or unsubstituted heterocyclic group including a carbazole skeleton, the carbazole skeleton included in the Cz1 is directly bonded to the Ar1, and the carbazole skeleton included in the Cz2 is directly bonded to the Ar2.

Abstract: A camera lens module includes an image sensor and a lens assembly. The image sensor includes a photosensitive chip defining a photosensitive path, wherein the lens assembly is coupled to the image sensor along the photosensitive path of the photosensitive chip. The lens assembly includes at least one optical lens module and an aperture member coupled at the optical lens module, wherein the optical lens module includes a lens barrel and at least an optical lens supported within the lens barrel. A relative position of the lens assembly with respect to the image sensor is adjustable for calibration and the relative position of the optical lens module is permanently fixed after calibration.

Abstract: An electrochemical device electrode has a current collector, alkalescent resin layers, conductive layers, and active material layers. The current collector is an acid-etched metal foil whose surface has concavities. The alkalescent resin layers are formed and desiccated inside the concavities and exhibit weak alkalinity. The conductive layers are formed on the current collector and the alkalescent resin layers, contain conductive material, and are electrically connected to the current collector. The active material layers are formed on the conductive layers.
Abstract: A wearable wireless communication device comprises a transceiver positioned on a first side of the device, the transceiver comprising a first antenna configured to receive radio frequency (RF) signals transmitted toward the first side of the device. The device is wearable about an object that attenuates reception, by the first antenna, of RF signals transmitted toward a second side of the device. The device further comprises a waveguide electromagnetically coupled to the transceiver, the waveguide terminating in at least a second antenna positioned on the second side of the device. The second antenna is configured to receive the RF signals transmitted toward the second side of the device. The waveguide is shaped to direct received RF signals around the object to the transceiver. The object may in some embodiments be a piece of human anatomy.

Abstract: An electrical converter and heater module with heat insulators having different cross-sectional areas includes a thermoelectric conversion module that corrects the difference in thermal resistance between a P-type thermoelectric conversion member and an N-type thermoelectric conversion member. The active element is covered with a light shielding pattern via a first insulation layer. A change in electrostatic capacitance produced between the first wiring layer and the second wiring layer is detected.
