Abstract: A protective aviation garment is designed to protect a crewmember during flight. The garment includes a bladder layer which retains a pressurized fluid and applies pressure to the user. The bladder layer is semi-permeable, being impermeable to both oxygen and nitrogen and permeable to water vapor. A first fluid tube is formed as part of the bladder layer to deliver the pressurized fluid to the interior of the bladder layer. A cover layer is formed from a fire-retardant fabric surrounding the exterior of the bladder layer. The cover layer is sealed around the first fluid tube and allows the first fluid tube to pass therethrough. The thigh seals are configured to seal the bladder layer to the user such that the bladder layer forms a lower volume and an upper volume. The first fluid tube delivers the first pressurized fluid to the lower volume.

  • Patent number: 11850975
Abstract: A recliner mechanism for a vehicle seat may include a guide plate, a locking plate, a pawl, an actuator hub, and a coil spring. The guide plate includes a recess and a projection. The locking plate includes a surface having teeth formed thereon. The pawl is movable in the recess between a secure position in which the pawl is engaged with the teeth of the locking plate to restrict relative rotation between the guide plate and the locking plate and a release position in which the pawl is disengaged from the teeth of the locking plate to allow relative rotation between the guide plate and the locking plate. Rotation of the actuator hub causes corresponding movement of the pawl between the secure position and the release position. The coil spring includes a first end engaging the actuator hub and a second end that hooks the projection of the guide plate.

  • Patent number: 11769927
Abstract: The technology disclosed herein relates to a battery housing having a casing with a plurality of sidewalls defining an installation opening and a battery cavity configured to receive a battery. The plurality of sidewalls has a first sidewall having a tab receptacle. A cover extends across the installation opening, the cover has a first end, a second end, and an engagement tab towards the second end. The engagement tab is configured to removably extend through the tab receptacle from outside the casing towards the battery cavity. The engagement tab defines an engagement surface that is configured to frictionally engage the first sidewall in the battery cavity. • Patent number: 11766957
Abstract: A seatback adjustment assembly may include a recliner heart, an attachment plate, and a lever. The recliner heart is operable in an unlocked state permitting relative rotation between a seatback and a seat bottom and a locked state preventing relative rotation between the seatback and the seat bottom. The attachment plate is rotationally fixed to the recliner heart. The lever is rotatable between a first state in which the lever is engaged with the attachment plate and a second state in which the lever is disengaged from the attachment plate. When lever is in the first state and the recliner heart is in the unlocked state, rotation of the recliner heart causes corresponding rotation of the seatback relative to the seat bottom. However, the seatback is configured to rotate relative to the seat bottom without causing corresponding rotation of the recliner heart when the lever is in the second state.
