Abstract: Techniques are provided for compression and decompression of log data. An exemplary method comprises: obtaining a log message, wherein the log message comprises a message template and one or more message variables; obtaining a compression index that maps a plurality of message templates to a corresponding message signature; and writing the one or more message variables and a message signature corresponding to the message template of the log message to a log file. A counter may be maintained for each of a plurality of distinct message templates, and a given message signature may be assigned to a particular message template based on a length of the given message signature and a frequency of occurrence of the particular message template. The compression index comprises, for example, a key/value database where the message templates are keys and the corresponding message signatures are values of the key/value database. A decompression index maps message signatures to corresponding message templates.
Abstract: A farm implement includes a frame, a container mounted on the frame, an intake housing rotatably connected to a front wall of the container proximate to a discharge opening, a first auger assembly, and a second auger assembly. The first auger assembly is disposed in the container and conveys agricultural material through the discharge opening. The second auger assembly is rotatably connected to an outlet of the intake housing and includes an inlet that receives agricultural material from the intake housing and an outlet that discharges agricultural material. The farm implement further includes a first mounting assembly and a second mounting assembly disposed along the front wall. The second auger assembly is mounted on one of the first and second mounting assemblies at an operating position, without being mounted to the other one of the first and second mounting assemblies.

Abstract: Radiation-shielding composite materials and their methods of manufacture. Such methods may include adding a metal hydride to a hardenable matrix precursor, adding a reinforcing material to the hardenable matrix precursor, and hardening the matrix precursor to form a composite material that incorporates the reinforcing material and the metal hydride in a solid matrix. The resulting radiation-shielding composite materials are configured to attenuate incident radiation, and may be used in the construction of panels, laminate structures, buildings, and aerospace vehicles, among others.

Abstract: Provided is a package structure including at least two chips, an interposer, a first encapsulant, and a second encapsulant. The at least two chips are disposed side by side and bonded to the interposer by a plurality of connectors. The first encapsulant is disposed on the interposer and filling in a gap between the at least two chips. The second encapsulant encapsulates the plurality of connectors and surrounding the at least two chips, wherein the second encapsulant is in contact with the first encapsulant sandwiched between the at least two chips, and a material of the second encapsulant has a coefficient of thermal expansion (CTE) larger than a CTE of a material of the first encapsulant. A method of manufacturing a package structure is also provided.
Abstract: A mold includes a top portion, and an edge ring having a ring-shape. The edge ring is underlying and connected to edges of the top portion. The edge ring includes air vents. The edge ring further encircles the inner space under the top portion of the mold. A plurality of injection ports is connected to the inner space of the mold. The plurality of injection ports is substantially aligned to a straight line crossing a center of the top portion of the mold. The plurality of injection ports has different sizes.
Abstract: Golf shoes having improved outsole constructions are provided. The golf shoes include upper, midsole, and outsole sections. The outsole includes a first set of arc pathways extending along the outsole in one direction. A second set of arc pathways extend along the outsole in a second direction. When the first and second arc pathways are superposed over each other, four-sided tile pieces are formed, and these tiles contain protruding traction members. Different traction zones containing different traction members are provided on the outsole. These zones provide improved all surface traction and there is no channeling and no trenching of the golf course turf. There is less damage to the golf course for a given amount of traction.
Abstract: The present invention provides a method for arranging dimples on a golf ball surface in which the dimples are arranged in a pattern derived from at least one irregular domain generated from a regular or non-regular polyhedron. The method includes choosing control points of a polyhedron, generating an irregular domain based on those control points, packing the irregular domain with dimples, and tessellating the irregular domain to cover the surface of the golf ball. The control points include the center of a polyhedral face, a vertex of the polyhedron, a midpoint or other point on an edge of the polyhedron and others. The method ensures that the symmetry of the underlying polyhedron is preserved while minimizing or eliminating great circles due to parting lines.

An example computer-implemented method includes processing historical calendar data attributed to users on a network; generating, based on the processed historical calendar data and historical user activity data associated with the network, a machine learning user activity model; processing input data, wherein the input data comprise additional user activity data associated with the network attributed to one of the users and additional calendar data temporally related to the additional user activity data; generating a risk assessment output for the user by applying the machine learning user activity model to the processed input data; and providing the risk assessment output to one or more risk management entities within the network for execution of one or more automated actions based on the risk assessment output.
Abstract: A driving system for an electric vehicle may include a shift assembly receiving power from a motor, and providing a plurality of shift gears using a plurality of meshed external gear pairs, a clutch intermittently transferring power from the motor to the shift assembly, a gear lever allowing a driver to sequentially select a plurality of assigned positions that are discontinuously disposed, a position sensor detecting the assigned positions to which the gear lever sequentially moves, on the basis of continuous changes in physical quantities, a clutch actuator actuating the clutch, a shift actuator actuating the shift assembly to change gear shifts, and a controller configured for controlling the clutch actuator, the shift actuator, and the motor to change gear shifts by receiving signals from the position sensor.

Abstract: Hybrid intra-cluster migration of data in an elastic cloud storage (ECS) environment is disclosed herein. A system comprises a processor and a memory that stores executable instructions that, when executed by the processor, perform operations that include moving a first data chunk from a first storage device to a second storage device during a data migration, based on a first determination that a first use efficiency of the first data chunk satisfies a defined use efficiency threshold. The operations also include moving a first data segment from a second data chunk in the first storage device to a third data chunk in the second storage device during the data migration, based on a second determination that a second use efficiency of the second data chunk fails to satisfy the defined use efficiency threshold. The first data segment includes data that is open for new writes and a second data segment includes data that is not open for new writes. After data is moved, capacity of the first data chuck is recovered.
