Abstract: A driver of a display panel is provided. The driver includes a plurality of sensing channels configured to receive a plurality of sensing signals from the display panel via a plurality of sensing lines and output the sensing signals, the sensing channels are coupled to the sensing lines in an arrangement selected from one of a random arrangement and a normal arrangement. The driver further includes a signal convertor coupled to the sensing channels and configured to receive the sensing signals from the sensing channels in a sequence selected from one of a random sequence and a normal sequence.

Abstract: A method of generating a correction plan for a knee of a patient includes obtaining a ratio of reference bone density to reference ligament tension in a reference population. A bone of the knee of the patient may be imaged. From the image of the bone, a first dataset may be determined including at least one site of ligament attachment and existing dwell points of a medial femoral condyle and lateral femoral condyle of the patient on a tibia of the patient. Desired positions of contact in three dimensions of the femoral condyles of the patient with the tibia of the patient may be obtained by determining a relationship in which a ratio of bone density to ligament tension of the patient is substantially equal to the ratio of reference bone density to reference ligament tension.

The size of the set of chain candidates is reduced utilizing an angle filter. Each remaining chain candidate of the reduced set of chain candidates is ranked and the chain candidate having a best ranking is selected as the best candidate chain. The first navigational map data set is updated utilizing attributes from the best candidate chain.

Abstract: In a general aspect, motion is detected using wireless signals. In an example, in response to a first series of sampling instructions asserted at a first sampling rate in a wireless sensing system, a first series of requests is sent for a wireless communication device to transmit a first series of wireless signals. The first series of wireless signals is received and motion detection output data is obtained based on the first series of wireless signals. A rate at which sampling instructions are asserted is changed from the first sampling rate to a second, different sampling rate based on the motion detection output data. In response to a second series of sampling instructions asserted at the second sampling rate in the wireless sensing system, a second series of requests is sent for the wireless communication device to transmit a second series of wireless signals.
Abstract: A common mode voltage level shifting and locking circuit is provided. The common mode voltage level shifting and locking circuit includes an operational amplifier, a source follower, a first feedback circuit, and a second feedback circuit. The operational amplifier generates a first common mode voltage. The source follower shifts the first common mode voltage to generate a second common mode voltage. The first feedback circuit generates a first control signal according to the second common mode voltage. The operational amplifier adjusts the first common mode voltage according to the first control signal. The second feedback circuit generates a second control signal according to an external reference voltage provided by a next stage circuit. The source follower adjusts the second common mode voltage according to the second control signal such that the next stage circuit reaches a maximum input common mode range.
Abstract: Provided are compositions and methods for preparing and identifying antibodies having CDR3s that vary in sequence and in length from very short to very long which in certain embodiments may bind to a carbohydrate moiety or the active site of an enzyme. Libraries coding for antibodies with the CDR3s are also provided. The libraries can be provided by modifying a pre-existing nucleic acid library.
Abstract: An enhanced riser control system may employ electrical tensioners coupled to a drilling riser by wires. The electrical tensioners may provide quick response to a tension controller to handle positioning of the drilling riser. The electrical tensioners of the enhanced riser control system may be combined with hydro-pneumatic tensioners in a riser hybrid tensioning system. A controller within the enhanced riser control system may be configured to distribute tension to electrical tensioners and to control electrical tensioners to adjust the length of the first and second wires. Energy from an electrical tensioner may be transferred to an energy storage system or to power dissipaters for dissipating the energy generated by the electrical tensioner. The energy transferred from an electrical tensioner may be energy that has been generated by the electrical tensioner.

In the method, a set operation having a first enhanced bias is performed on at least one memory cell in a resistive memory array of the resistive memory apparatus, in which the first enhanced bias is larger than a bias used in a normal execution of the set operation. A heat process is performed on the memory cell. A set operation having a second enhanced bias is performed on the memory cell, in which the second enhanced bias is larger than or equal to the first enhanced bias.
Abstract: A pneumatic nail gun includes a striking device, a lifting wheel, a motor that is configured to drive the lifting wheel to rotate to lift the striking device, and a control device. The control device includes a microcontroller, and a sensor configured to output a sensing signal when detecting that the lifting wheel is at a predetermined angular position where the lifting wheel has lifted the striking device to arrive at a ready-to-strike position. The microcontroller controls the motor to drive the lifting wheel to rotate to lift the striking device when the sensing signal is not received, and controls the motor to stop the lifting wheel from rotating upon receiving the sensing signal from the sensor.
