Abstract: A user identity authentication method is provided, which includes that: a Service Provider (SP) device receives a user request sent by a terminal, the user request including an identity credential of a user; the SP device determines an Identifier (ID) of the user and a priority of the identity credential according to the user request; and the SP device enables corresponding service for the terminal according to the priority. In the embodiment, the SP device provides the corresponding service according to the identity credential of the user. Therefore, a Unified security identity authentication manner may be implemented, usability is improved, and optimal utilization of resources may be implemented.

Abstract: An apparatus and method for generating high quality, high frame rate images in a handheld or hand-carried ultrasonic imaging machine. The apparatus includes an image enhancer to reduce speckle noise and improve the compressibility of the resulting image. This approach reduces the required hardware and power consumption to satisfy the physical space, power, and limited processing power of a handheld probe and enables high quality images to be transmitted efficiently over low-bandwidth connections.
Abstract: Dive computers incorporating a variety of features are disclosed. One embodiment of the invention includes a dive computer including a microprocessor, memory configured to store a software application, a pressure transducer configured to determine depth information, and a communications device configured to communicate with external devices, wherein the software application configures the microprocessor to create a dive log stored in memory, wherein the dive log includes recorded information including depth of submersion information recorded from the pressure transducer, and transmit the dive log using the communications device.

Abstract: The present disclosure provides a control method, a control device and an electronic device. The wide-angle camera is started first. Then, the displayer is controlled to display a cached wide-angle image as a preview image. Next, a designated area is identified and the telephoto camera is started during zooming the preview image. Further, the actuator is controlled such that a cached telephoto image is located in the designated area, and the wide-angle camera and telephoto camera are controlled to image respectively. Finally, the wide-angle image and telephoto image are combined. With the control method and device and the electronic device in the present disclosure, the telephoto camera may image the designated area when the user zooms the designated area of the cached wide-angle image, thereby enhancing sharpness of the designated area and improving the user experience.

Abstract: A spinal implant which is configured to be deployed between adjacent vertebral bodies. The implant has at least one fixation element with a retracted configuration to facilitate deployment of the implant and an extended configuration so as to engage a surface of an adjacent vertebral body and secure the implant between two vertebral bodies. Preferably, the implant is expandable and has a minimal dimension in its unexpanded state that is smaller than the dimensions of the neuroforamen through which it must pass to be deployed within the intervertebral space. Once within the space between vertebral bodies, the implant can be expanded so as to engage the endplates of the adjacent vertebrae to effectively distract the anterior disc space, stabilize the motion segments and eliminate pathologic spine motion. Angular deformities can be corrected, and natural curvatures restored and maintained.

The first network interface may be provided to enable user terminals local to the kiosk to wirelessly access network resources via the kiosk system. The second network interface may enable the kiosk to access a remote system. The kiosk may be equipped with a camera, microphone, and/or a speaker.
Abstract: Specific devices and systems associated with aligning sensors to targets are disclosed herein. More specifically, systems that utilize light guides for aligning scanning surfaces of scanning devices with target surfaces of scan targets are disclosed herein. One disclosed device comprises a body, a sensor fixed to the body, and at least two apertures aligned with the sensor. The apertures define visible light patterns. The visible light of the visible light patterns can be generated by at least one light source that emits light through the at least two apertures. The visible light patterns exhibit a unique combined representation when projected at a target that is at the optimal front focal distance from the sensor. The visible light patterns also independently exhibit first and second universal representations when projected at a target surface that is at the optimal orientation relative to the sensor.

Abstract: The described accessory drive system for a gas turbine engine includes a gearbox driving a plurality of accessories including a cabin air compressor to provide cabin air and an engine starter to start the gas turbine engine. An electrical power supply separate from a main electrical power supply of the gas turbine engine is electrically coupled to the accessories. A clutch selectively engages an output of the gas turbine engine to mechanically couple the output to the gearbox. The clutch operates between an electrical drive state where it disengages from the output and only the electrical power supply provides electrical power to the cabin air compressor and the engine starter, and a mechanical drive state where the clutch engages the output and the gearbox drives at least one of the accessories.

Abstract: An apparatus for harnessing energy from a wheel travelling on a railroad track includes an elongate body with a plurality of pockets spaced apart along a top surface thereof. Energy collection devices are installed in the pockets, and each includes an actuator extending proud of the top surface. A mounting assembly releasably mounts the body adjacent to the railroad track so that the actuators of the energy collection devices are positioned in a path of the wheel to be actuated thereby. The energy collection devices may be coupled to a low pressure fluid supply reservoir and a high pressure fluid accumulator, and used to pump fluid from the reservoir to the accumulator upon actuation.
Abstract: Various embodiments provide semiconductor structures and their fabrication methods. An SRAM memory cell can include at least one semiconductor structure, and an SRAM memory can include at least one SRAM memory cell. An exemplary semiconductor structure can include at least two adjacent transistors formed on a semiconductor substrate. An opening can be formed and surrounded by gates of the two adjacent transistors and a doped region formed between the gates of the two adjacent transistors. A conductive layer can be formed to at least partially cover a bottom and a sidewall of the opening to electrically connect a gate of one transistor with the doped region of the other transistor of the two adjacent transistors.
