Abstract: A cover plate assembly is provided with a cover plate with a substrate adapted to be mounted upon a substrate of a subplate mounted to an electrical device for enclosing the electrical device. A rim extends from a periphery of the cover plate substrate. The fastener is engaged with the cover plate to engage the detent in a periphery of the subplate for fastening the cover plate to the subplate. The fastener is a separate component than the cover plate and the subplate. The fastener is concealed beneath the cover plate. In another embodiment, the cover plate is metallic and the fastener is formed integrally with the cover plate. In another embodiment, a first fastener fastens the subplate to the electrical device. A second fastener is engaged with the cover plate and the first fastener for fastening the cover plate to the first fastener.

Abstract: A server provides for improved cooling using one or more baffles. The baffles allow for increased cooling efficiencies by directing heat in such a manner as to reduce heat exposure for temperature sensitive hardware and data center employees. The baffle may be disposed within a server and direct hot air through the server away from temperature sensitive devices. The baffle may include an inlet that receives hot air and an outlet through which hot air may exit. One or more fans may be used to direct air through the baffle. For example, the baffle may direct heat from the baffle inlet to the baffle outlet, directing heat away from temperature sensitive devices within the server.

Abstract: A system and method are provided for use with a mobile device. The system is configurable to detect unauthorized access to onboard sensors or information developed by the sensors or configured by the user. Upon detection, access may be denied or limited according to pre-set rules or user intervention. The rules may consider prior access attempts, time-of-day or current location in the denial or limitation of access. Access limitation can include limiting access to only dithered data or spoofed data in accordance to the rules or user instructions.

Abstract: An internal combustion engine including a pilot subchamber, a pilot fuel injector having a tip in communication with the pilot subchamber, an ignition element positioned to ignite fuel within the pilot subchamber, and a main fuel injector spaced apart from the pilot fuel injector. The engine includes a common rail in fluid communication with the main fuel injector and with the pilot fuel injector and a pressure regulating mechanism in fluid communication with the common rail for regulating a fuel pressure therein. A method of combusting fuel in an internal combustion engine is also provided.

Abstract: A water chamber for a respiratory therapy apparatus has a base casing, a cover casing and a partition. The partition makes the air flows downward, turns around and then goes up to prolong the route and the time of the air passing through the water chamber. Therefore, the air can be saturated with moisture sufficiently to increase the air humidity. When the air is passing through the water chamber, the air is divided into two parts to each respectively enter a first tube and a second tube. The audio frequencies caused by the two parts of the air are changed due to a change of a cross sectional area. When the two parts of the air converge, the audio frequency is changed again. The partition makes the air in different portions of the water chamber have different audio frequencies, thereby reducing the resonance to eliminate noise.

The female member may include a central axis opening and a telescopically slidable outer sleeve. The outer sleeve may be spring-biased in a forward direction towards the central axis opening. A pull member may be coupled to the outer sleeve and may extend from the outer sleeve in a direction other than parallel to the radius of the outer sleeve.

Abstract: A play tent has a tent body, a roof, and a game device board. The tent body has a ball opening. The roof is connected with the tent body and has a ball end moveable relative to the tent body to correspond to the top of the tent body or the ball opening. The game device board is mounted on the tent body. When the ball end is moved to a position corresponding to the ball opening, a child can pitch a ball towards the game device board, and then the ball rolls to the ball opening, such that the child can pitch the ball again. When the ball end is moved to a position corresponding to the top of the tent body, the child can be engaged in other activities inside the tent body. Therefore, the play tent can provide multiple functions for use.

Abstract: A method of implanting a hip joint prosthesis into a patient can include obtaining image data of hip joint anatomy of the patient. Physical activities that the patient desires to participate in subsequent to implanting the hip prosthesis can be determined. A size and an initial placement of the hip joint prosthesis based on the image data can be determined. A desired range of motion of the hip joint prosthesis based on the determined physical activities can be determined. A plan can be created comprising a desired implanted location of the hip joint prosthesis and based on the desired range of motion. The plan can be incorporated onto a guide. The plan can be executed with the guide thereby implanting the hip joint prosthesis into the patient at the desired implanted position.

Fuel nozzles are in fluid communication with the annular combustor chamber to inject fuel in the annular combustor chamber. The fuel nozzles are oriented to inject fuel in a fuel flow direction having an axial component relative to the central axis of the annular combustor chamber. Nozzle air inlets are in fluid communication with the annular combustor chamber to inject nozzle air generally radially in the annular combustor chamber. A plurality of dilution air holes are defined through the inner and outer liner downstream of the nozzle air inlets, the dilution holes configured for high pressure air to be injected from an exterior of the liners through the dilution air holes generally radially into the combustor chamber, a central axis of the dilution air holes having a tangential component relative to the central axis of the annular combustor chamber.

Abstract: A photovoltaic cell module configured to convert energy of light into electric energy is provided. The photovoltaic cell module includes photovoltaic cells and at least one bus element. A first electrode of one of the photovoltaic cells is electrically connected to another of the photovoltaic cells through the bus element. Each photovoltaic cell includes a first-type semiconductor layer, a second-type semiconductor layer, and a first electrode. The second-type semiconductor layer has an interface in contact with the first-type semiconductor layer. The first-type semiconductor layer is located between the first electrode and the second-type semiconductor layer. The light enters each photovoltaic cell along a direction from the first electrode to the interface. The first electrode includes first and second electricity-collecting portions which cross with each other and belong to a single film layer. A method of fabricating a photovoltaic cell module and a photovoltaic cell are also provided.

Abstract: A bearing temperature monitoring system for detecting a temperature of bearing grease within a bearing housing. The bearing temperature monitoring system comprises a housing mountable to the bearing housing, a power source selectively outputting an electrical current, and an electrical circuit. The electrical circuit includes a temperature sensor component electrically coupled to the power source. The temperature sensor component can be responsive to a change in temperature such that the temperature sensor component opens or closes the electrical circuit at a predetermined temperature even in the absence of an applied electrical current. The electrical circuit further includes an alert device electrically coupled to the power source and the temperature sensor component that outputs an alert in response to the temperature sensor component.

The touch panel has a plurality of touching rows and a plurality of touching columns. The touching detecting method includes: performing a mutual-capacitor touching detection and a self-capacitor touching detection alternatively to the touch panel for obtaining a mutual-capacitor detection result and a self-capacitor detection result, respectively; and obtaining position information of at least one touch point on the touch panel by an operation based on the mutual-capacitor detection result and the self-capacitor detection result.

Abstract: The present invention provides a tapered line production device and method for efficiently producing line of varying thickness. An additional aspect of the present invention is to employ a heat transfer media to provide a tapered fishing line production device and method that operates at high rates of production. Further, the device may be configured to create tapered fishing line with minimal transitional distances between tapered sections.

The engine includes at least one inlet port for each internal cavity in fluid communication with the combustion chamber(s) thereof at least during their intake phase and a beginning of their compression phase. Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention perform a method for reading data from, writing data to, powering on, or configuring a block device without the kernel translating a file system operation into a block device operation. This is implemented by a using a core module to couple applications running in user space to a character device through a character device driver, the core module configures the character device to communicate with a block device through a block device driver without the kernel translating a file system command into a block device command.
