  • Patent number: 8491014
Abstract: An end connector of a corrugated tube made of plastic material has a tubular elastomeric body produced by co-molding onto an end of the corrugated tube. The elastomeric body includes a connection portion arranged outside the corrugated tube and shaped for connection to an external component, and by an anchorage portion arranged inside the corrugated tube so as to fill grooves of the corrugated wall. A tubular insert which is made of plastic material and is partially incorporated in the elastomeric body and has a stem portion extending inside the corrugated tube and a flange portion which is in abutment with the end of the corrugated tube. The stem portion includes an anchorage zone provided with lateral ducts, in the region of the anchorage zone the stem portion of the insert is attached to the corrugated tube by the anchorage portion of the elastomeric body.

  • Patent number: 7461591
Abstract: A screw press for pressing fibrous material, in particular sugar beet pulp, having a pair of adjacent counter-rotating shafts parallel axes, the shafts each having a helical structure winding in the opposite direction to the helical structure of the other shaft, a perforated filtering cage enclosing said helical structures, a loading hopper for feeding the fibrous material to the press, a discharge aperture for the exit of the pressed material, the helical structures having a helix (22, 32) and a helical element (23, 33), which has at least one perforated surface and a helical interspace with the outer surface of the shaft, the perforated surface having a length (L) along the axis of the shaft which is less than the pitch (P) of the helix so as to receive the helix of the adjacent shaft.

  • Patent number: 7267049
Abstract: A screw press (1) for pressing fibrous material, in particular sugar beet pulp, comprising: at least one pair of helical elements (30) which are disposed mutually parallel and side by side and comprise at least one helix (32, 33) disposed about a rotary shaft which extends along a predetermined axial direction; a perforated walled filtering cage (5) supported by equidistant hoops (13, 14) and enclosing the helical elements (30) as an exact fit; a loading hopper (8); a discharge opening (9) for the exit of the pressed material; a collection sump (10) positioned externally to the filtering cage (4); in which the filtering cage (5) presents a modular structure having a distance between the axes of each module (M) which is constant and is a sub-multiple of, or equal to, the dimension of the loading hopper (8) measured along the predetermined axial direction, the loading hopper (8) being shiftable by its replacing one or more modules (M) of the filtering cage (5).

  • Publication number: 20020030345
Abstract: A bicycle upper rear fork unit (1) comprises a one-piece body (10) and presents a fork (13) connected to a lower rear fork unit (4) of the bicycle, the upper fork unit (1) having a tubular end portion (12) arranged to cooperate with a saddle connection element (5) connecting the fork unit (1) to the remaining portion of the bicycle frame (2), the one-piece body (10) presenting a substantially triangular portion (15) interposed between the tubular portion (12) and the arms (14) of the fork (13). The saddle connection element (5) receives within one of its parts the tubular end portion (12) of the upper rear fork unit (1), said terminal portion (12) projecting from the said part of the saddle connection element (5) for a maximum distance of 2 centimeters measured from that vertex (17) of the triangular portion (15) close to the tubular portion to ensure a high resistance to rear flexural and torsional stresses.

  • Patent number: 5011663
Abstract: A test-tube for clinical chemistry analysis made up of a plurality of cells, each one of the cells comprising a lower portion for the collection of the reagent and a side intermediate portion provided with an edge for the storage of the sample to be tested upon the mixing thereof with the reagent. The cells are disposed in a straight configuration. The operations of the mixing of the samples with the reagents and the simultaneous stirring inside all cells, may be carried out by imparting the test-tube with an angular motion about a longitudinal axis.

  • Patent number: 4738827
Abstract: The phial or vial holding for a capillary tube is internally subdivided into an external chamber having annular cross-section and an internal chamber having circular cross-section. The outer wall of the chamber of annular cross-section carries a capillary hole and the inner tubular wall separating the two chambers has a hole in alignment with that of the outer wall and of larger diameter. In the hollow space of annular cross-section, a slight entrained flow through the hole of the inner wall and consequently a fast removal of the sample liquid which has passed through the capillary hole takes place. This is without backward flow in the direction of the capillary hole.
