    Abstract: A gearbox mechanism is provided for a twin screw extruder having two screw shafts disposed at an angle to one another. The gear mechanism has a multi-stage reduction gearbox, and a distribution gearbox having two output lines connectable to the screw shafts. A first output line comprises a through output shaft. An angularly movable coupling, which is fixed against rotation, is disposed in a second output line placed at the angle of the screw shafts, relative to the first output line, via the coupling. A drive gear of the reduction gearbox is disposed between, and is in engagement with, a gear on the output shaft and a gear on a partial shaft of the second output line. A reduction gearbox and distribution gearbox are disposed, without spatial separation, in a common interior space of a multi-part gearbox housing.

    Abstract: A gear unit for the drive of a rotating tube is provided with a drive shaft and a power distributing gear unit stage that is configured as a helical gear unit with an intermediate shaft having mounted thereon two helical pinions. A load-summing gear unit stage with a take-off shaft is operated downstream of the gear unit stage. In this connection, the take-off shaft is on the central axis of the driven rotating tube. The load-summing gear unit stage is comprised of two parallel operated planetary gear units each having a sun gear, planetary gears each disposed on a respective planetary axle, a hollow gear and a common planet carrier that is configured as a single piece and connected with the take-off shaft. The planetary axles of both planetary gear units in the common planet carrier are spaced from one another and offset from one another.

    Abstract: An elastic coupling is provided and has first and second coupling parts that are rotatable relative to one another and engage one another via elastomeric elements. A coupling gap remains between the coupling parts. A marking is disposed on the outer edge of one of the coupling parts, and an indicator plate is disposed on the outer edge of the other of the coupling parts. The marking and indicator plate serve for a determination of a relative angle of torque of the coupling parts, wherein the marking and indicator plate are disposed on the coupling parts such that they are centered relative to one another. The marking and indicator plate abut the coupling gap.
