Abstract: This application relates to an optical connector holder and an optical connector assembly including the optical connector holder. In one aspect, the optical connector holder includes a holder body including a mounting hole for inserting an optical connector, and a support piece extending from the mounting hole toward a rear side of the holder body to support the optical connector. The optical connector holder may also include a front end locking protrusion protruding from the mounting hole toward the optical connector to catch at least a portion of the optical connector when the optical connector is inserted into the mounting hole. The optical connector holder may further include a rear end locking protrusion protruding upward from the support piece so that the optical connector is seated in the mounting hole while being caught by the front end locking protrusion.

Abstract: This application relates to an optical connector. In one aspect, the optical connector includes a connector unit including a receiving space in which an optical cable is inserted, and an opening which opens downwardly at a rear end portion of the connector unit. The optical connector may also include a first body surrounding at least a portion of a top of the connector unit, and a second body disposed under the first body, a front end portion of which is rotatably connected to the connector unit to open and close the opening. The optical connector may further include a boot rotatably coupled to the first body and the second body to fix the optical cable inserted in the connector unit.

Abstract: An optical connector which includes a body including a contact part having a contact groove, a cover having an outer surface on which a protruding lock region is formed, a first insertion part formed on one side end portion of the contact part, and a second insertion part formed on the other side end portion of the contact part. A holder is inserted to be slidable onto the contact part and the cover. A guide protrusion is formed to protrude from each side surface of the cover. A guide slot concavely formed on each inner side surface of the holder in a longitudinal direction of the holder. The guide protrusion is inserted into and guided by the guide slot. The guide slot includes an unlock region in which a vertical distance from an inner upper surface of the holder to a contact point of the guide slot.

Abstract: A fiber optic mechanical splicer includes a fiber connection base, a base cover and one or more fastening clamps. The base includes a plurality of insertion parts, fiber connection parts, and auxiliary protuberances. Each of the insertion parts having an insertion hole through which an optical cable is inserted. A connection groove is formed at a central portion of the fiber connection parts and extends in a lengthwise direction of the fiber connection parts. The base cover covers the fiber connection parts and is supported by the auxiliary protuberances. The one or more fastening clamps elastically fit around the fiber connection base and the base cover to fixedly hold the fiber connection base and the base cover with each other while pressing the optical fiber seated in the connection groove.

The connector includes a ferrule having an optical fiber, a plug integrally forming a housing coupling part, and an open-topped boot into which an optical cable is inserted, an optical connection member to connect an optical fiber of the ferrule inserted at a tip end side and an optical fiber of the optical cable, a boot cover rotatably coupled to the plug on a side of the boot, a screw cap screw-coupled to the boot and the boot cover to fix the optical cable inserted into the boot and the boot cover, and a plurality of ring-shaped bosses arranged at inner sides of the boot and the boot cover.
