    Abstract: An underground storage tank for use for wastewater storage or as a temporary holding tank for wastewater or runoff from drainage systems. The present holding tank includes a generally cylindrical sidewall having a plurality of integrally molded longitudinal and annular reinforcing ribs spaced circumferentially about the sidewall. The ribs greatly strengthen the sidewall against the crushing forces of hydrostatic pressure, and thus the present tank can be constructed from polyethylene. The bottom of the tank terminates in a tapered portion having a plurality of integrally molded reinforced support posts, each of which terminates in a ground support pad. A raised anti-flotation annular collar separates the tapered portion from the main body of the tank and prevents the tank from being lifted by hydrostatic pressure.

    Abstract: A hydraulic circuit system for one-touch jack and its structure has an inlet circuit, a return circuit and an overload protection circuit with a hydraulic cylinder, a piston rod, a sequence valve, a safety valve and a relief valve, in which the inlet circuit extends from an outer reservoir of a hydraulic cylinder via a check valve to connect to an oil chamber of a manual pump. The oil chamber of the pump is connected to an oil guide tube via another check valve, the oil guide tube is inserted into an inner oil chamber formed in a piston rod to form a closed circuit. The oil chamber of the pump is connected to an inner chamber of the hydraulic cylinder via a sequence valve and the inner chamber is connected to the outer reservoir via a check valve. When the maximum effect capacity of the oil chamber of the piston rod, a single touch of the pump can raise the hydraulic jack to the required loading position for raising at no load or light load conditions.

    Abstract: A reflow miniovens is available for soldering/desoldering of BGA and SMT individual components on a printed circuit board (PCB). The minioven is comprised of an apparatus whose top and side oven walls are configured as a gas delivery head terminating in a detachable nozzle fitted over the component, which gas delivery head provides gas delivery and vacuum application apparatus, and with the oven bottom being the PCB and the component being soldered/desoldered being positioned directly above a preheater placed in a table on which an open frame construction board holder holding the PCB is supported, allowing placement of any surface on the PCB in direct and unobstructed view of the preheater. The nozzle is configured to direct heated gas to the component and to direct exhaust gas to a level above the PCB to avoid heating neighboring components on the PCB.

    Abstract: A powered downdraft type combustion unit which substantially completely gasifies the fuel burned therein during the combustion process and produces a maximum amount of usable heat for utilization at a location remote from the combustion unit is provided. The present combustion unit includes a heavily insulated outer shroud enclosing insulated sequential combustion chambers to prevent heat loss from the combustion chambers. A primary combustion chamber is separated from a secondary combustion chamber by a plurality of refractory grates. Fuel is fed to the primary combustion chamber to be combusted therein, and the products of this stage of combustion then pass to the secondary combustion chamber where the combustion process is completed. The heat-containing combustion gases are directed from the secondary combustion chamber to a heat utilizing appliance through a conduit connected therebetween.

    Abstract: A roller skate construction including an elongated cast plastic body member having a hollow extending substantially throughout the length thereof and including front and rear axle supporting portions having bores therein with the sides of the bores being diverging so as to act as limit stops for the central portions of the axles which are pivotally mounted by means of bolts extending therethrough and received in the front and rear axle supporting portions. Wear plates are positioned in the bores between the axles and the axle supporting portions to take the wear due to pivotal movement of the axles. A toe stop construction consisting of a substantially solid rectangular block with a slot therein to receive the front portion of a skate body in complementary mating relationship and a bolt nonrotatably extending through the toe stop and the skate body for mounting the toe stop, the configuration of the slot and the toe portion of the skate body being such so that there can be no pivotal movement of the toe stop.

    Abstract: A wheel mounted chassis is provided with a pair of spaced and parallel conveyor chains extending longitudinally from the front to the rear of the chassis. A pair of cylindrical bale, pick-up arms are pivoted forwardly of the chassis and are adapted to be engaged with each end of a bale to be picked up. Fluid operator means pivot the arms and the bale through an arc and deposit the bale onto the conveyor chains. The arms then return to the forward position to pick up the next bale. As the arms move rearwardly through an arc, means are operatively connected to the conveyor chains to move the upper runs thereof rearwardly a predetermined amount and stop clutch or ratchet means prevent forward movement of the upper runs of the conveyor chains when the arms move forwardly. The first bale is thus moved rearwardly as the next bale is picked up and deposited and this continues until the chassis is full or enough bales are loaded thereon.

    Abstract: To rebuild the interior of a shell of a volute-type centrifugal dredge pump, a radial arm carrying a welding torch swings about the axis of the shell to repeatedly traverse the interior of the shell and automatically shifts the welding path at the end of each traverse. The radial arm advances or retracts radially as it rotates to follow the eccentricity of the volute configuration. The advance or retraction of the radial arm in response to its rotation is accomplished by a sprocket chain that walks around the periphery of a fixed sprocket on the axis of rotation, the diameter of the fixed sprocket being selected in accord with the eccentricity of the volute configuration.
