Abstract: A filter cartridge including a cartridge housing arranged about an axis and including first and second housing end caps and an apertured generally cylindrical housing body joined at opposite ends thereof to the first and second housing end caps, filter material arranged in an accordion-like filter medium disposed within the cartridge housing in a generally cylindrical configuration about a central bore, first and second filter medium end caps attached to opposite ends of the filter medium, a generally cylindrical internal structural member joined to the first filter medium end cap and extending through the central bore and an elongate air venting tube mounted onto the first and second filter medium end caps and extending axially interiorly of the cartridge housing but radially exteriorly of the filter material.

Abstract: A fluid filter element for use with a filter housing having a selectably blockable outlet channel for unfiltered fluid, the filter fluid element including first and second end caps, a filter medium joined to the first and second end caps and defining a cylindrical configuration arranged about a central bore extending between the first and second end caps, a water separator operative to separate water from filtered fluid, a water collector arranged for collecting water separated from the filter fluid and a plug mounted on the second end cap and separate from the water collector and being configured for selective blocking of the selectably blockable outlet channel, when the fluid filter element is mounted in the filter housing in an operative orientation.

Abstract: A filter element for use with a filter assembly having a filter housing and a rotationally releasable locking mechanism, the filter element including first and second end plates, the second end plate having a central aperture, a filtering medium arranged between the first and second end plates in a generally hollow cylindrical configuration about a central bore arranged about an axis, the central bore communicating with the central aperture in the second end plate, at least one perforated cylindrical pipe located in the central bore and a locking mechanism rotating assembly, sealingly extending through the central aperture of the second end plate and having a seal mounted thereon, for sealing the filter element in the filter housing.
