  • Patent number: 9851035
Abstract: The connector assembly includes a housing with an open bore which extends along an axis from an open first end to an open second end. The housing further includes a plurality of fingers that are spaced circumferentially from one another and are deflectable in a radial direction. At least one of the fingers has a plurality of teeth that are spaced axially from one another and extend into the open bore of the housing for biting into the first tube to resist pull out of the first tube from the open bore. Each of the teeth also extends by a height to a leading edge of an engagement surface which also includes an angled portion that extends at an angle relative to the axis. The axially spaced teeth have at least one of differing heights and differing angles of the angled portions.

  • Patent number: 9816542
Abstract: An anchoring device has an insert sleeve and an expanding rivet. The insert sleeve is anchorable in an insert recess of a support part via engagement tongues. In a final assembly configuration, spreading arms of the expansion rivet are situated in arm clearances of the insert sleeve by the action of an expansion shank of a rivet pin, and are engaged with retaining edges of the insert sleeve. In this manner, the mounting part is removably connected to the support part with the expansion shank removable from the rivet body by releasing the spreading arms from the insert sleeve in order to release the connection.

  • Patent number: 9816652
Abstract: A lock (10) for a tubular connection, blocked axially in a first tubular element and defining an axial opening (14) receiving a second tubular element provided with a circular collar, said lock (10) comprising elastically deformable cradles provided with inside bevels (13) designed so that, while the second tubular element is axially engaged, they move radially apart under the effect of the axial pressure of the circular collar, allow same to pass through, and then move back in to clamp behind the circular collar and to co-operate therewith to lock the second tubular element axially in the first tubular element. Each cradle (11) is provided with a raised axial ridge (15) with a width (l) less than the width (L) of the cradle (11), and is intended during the axial engagement, to receive the axial thrust from the circular collar. A tubular connector is obtained with such a lock (10).

  • Patent number: 9592971
Abstract: A method and apparatus for transferring formed adhesive elements from a reservoir (30) containing plural formed adhesive elements (12) to a bonding part attachable to a glass surface or other substrate through the use of adhesives. Transfer of the formed adhesive element to the bonding part (14) is accomplished by use of a vacuum tool (10) having a vacuum outlet, an internal plenum, and a series of vacuum lines formed in an adhesive element holding face. The vacuum tool is positioned over a reservoir of formed adhesive elements. Once the formed adhesive elements have been captured by the vacuum tool (10) the tool is used to place them into contact with the heated bonding part (14) directly or indirectly by intermediate placement onto a matrix (60) having a plurality of ejector pins (72) movably fitted therein. The ejector pins move the formed adhesive elements into position against the bonding part.

  • Patent number: 9562554
Abstract: A retainer assembly for retaining a panel to a component. The retainer assembly includes a base defining a bore for receiving a screw. A pair of front and back support members each have a first section connected to the base, and a second section that overlies the bore for flexing outwardly in response to being engaged by the screw. A front and back primary retention member each extend outwardly from the front and back support members for holding the retainer assembly relative to the panel. A pair of front and back secondary retention members each extend outwardly from the first section of the front and back support members. The front and back secondary retention members terminate closer to the base than the front and back primary retention members to establish an interference fit between the retainer assembly and the panel prior to the screw being driven through the retainer assembly.
