Patents Assigned to A/S Chr. Fabers Fabriker
  • Patent number: 6971435
Abstract: The operation of a roller blind occurs via a ball cord and a pulley. The ball cord may be wound several turns around the pulley, in that oblong axial tracks have been provided in the pulley. Thereby the winding may be preserved without jamming between the windings. Greater forces may be transmitted to the pulley than in case of known constructions.

  • Patent number: 6467714
Abstract: A roller for a roller blind in the shape of a tube (T) comprising a mechanism known per se is braked by means of friction, in that a compression spring (7) is compressed when the blind is pulled down and establishes a force between a collar (6) on the non-rotating rod (2) of the roller blind, and a nut (8) which is rotated by the tube. The nut has a shoulder (8a) which cooperates with a corresponding shoulder (14) at the end of the non-rotating rod. An alternative spring force is obtained by means of a piston in an air cylinder in which a calibrated exhaust opening for the air reduces the braking action when rotation is slow.

  • Patent number: 5720087
Abstract: In the production of slat packages for Venetian blinds, the slats are placed over each other and introduced between a first and a second transverse band in double rungs in carrying bands or ladders including bands or cords. The slats are conveyed one by one to the carrying band and lifted after being introduced into a double rung to enable mechanical introduction of the slats between the double rungs. A double rung is stretched between two teeth projecting over the plane in which the slats are conveyed. A slat is conveyed forward until it has passed under the first of the two transverse bands, and the slat is then lifted so that when further conveyed it passes over the second of the two transverse bands. The slat can be lifted by an inclined plane placed between the teeth.

  • Patent number: 5179771
Abstract: A machine for production of finished lath packs for Venetian blinds, which have holes at the ends for draw cords and ladders consisting of bands or strings, every cross band of which carries a lath, and where two neighboring cross bands of a ladder are placed on each side of the draw cord passed through the holes. The machine has a mechanism which inserts laths at each ladder, a mechanism which lifts the inserted lath and the ladders as well as devices to retain the raised lath. Each lifting mechanism has a carrier with a slit through which the ladder stretches and, on both side of the slit, carrier faces sloping away from each other for an inserted lath. The carrier can tilt in such a way that the carrier faces support the laths alternately. The carriers are tilted synchronously with the movement of the feed mechanism. The carrier is thus used also for positioning the ladder with the consecutive cross bands placed on one and the other side alternately of the draw cord.

  • Patent number: 4538785
Abstract: For the setting up of blinds with a blind roller which has at one end a round-end-view cylindrical ("round") axle journal and at the other end an angular axle journal which is in connection with a spring mechanism in the interior of the blind roller, wherein are used two mountings which are intended to be fixed at the ends of the blind roller and at one end is an angular bearing for the taking up and securing against rotation of an axle journal with angular cross-section and at the other end a round bearing for the taking up of a round axle journal.
