  • Patent number: 11992947
Abstract: A method is for controlling an actuation force exerted by an actuating device having a first working chamber and a second working chamber supplied with pressurized air from a source of pressurized air by a first pressure regulator and a second pressure regulator. The method includes calculating, by an optimization algorithm based on a dynamic model of the actuating device and of the first and second pressure regulators, desired values for control signals for the first and second pressure regulators to generate an actuation force equal to a desired value for the actuation force. An estimated value for the actuation force, estimated values for pressures inside the first and second working chambers and for first derivatives of the pressures, are determined by a state observer based on a measured value for the actuation force and on measured values for the pressures in the first and second working chambers.

  • Patent number: 11994113
Abstract: A fluid system for a wind turbine, which is particularly beneficial when the wind turbine is operating at low power, such as during idling operational mode. Fluid accumulates in a fluid storage device before being released intermittently, for example by fluid bursts or pulses, to one or more consumer units, including but not limited to bearings. The fluid system advantageously enables fluid, such as lubricant, to be sufficiently distributed to the one or more consuming units even if the pump used to supply fluid to the consuming units is operating at low power.

  • Patent number: 11996851
Abstract: A circuit for decoding a pulse width modulated (PWM) signal generates an output signal switching between a first and second logic values as a function of a duty-cycle of the PWM signal. Current generating circuitry receives the PWM signal and injects a current to and sinks a current from an intermediate node as a function of the values of the PWM signal. A capacitor coupled to the intermediate node is alternatively charged and discharged by the injected and sunk currents, respectively, to generate a voltage. A comparator circuit coupled to the intermediate node compares the generated voltage to a comparison voltage and drives the logic values of the output signal as a function of the comparison.

  • Patent number: 11992831
Abstract: The present invention includes a method for emptying a reactor containing at least one bed of spent catalyst particles and that comprises at least one dump tube, which opens into the reactor in the bottom portion of the bed of particles or underneath the latter. The method comprises the following: a first step of causing a proportion of the catalyst bed to flow out of the reactor via said dump tube; then a second step of expelling out of the reactor the catalyst remainder, by driving towards the opening of the dump tube the catalyst particles remaining in the reactor at the end of the first step, this step being performed by means of a removable device introduced into the reactor via the dump tube, and is characterised in that said removable device comprises an articulated arm bearing one or more protuberances spirally disposed about a rotary axis.
