Abstract: A mould for forming a wind turbine blade is formed in two halves, each half 1a comprising a sandwich structure of a perforated outer layer, an inner aluminium honeycomb structure and an inner impermeable heat-conducting layer. An article in the form of a mat of glass fibre impregnated with epoxy resin is placed in the mould. A supply chamber 6 supplies heated pressurised air to the mould which passes into the honeycomb core of the mould through the perforated outer layer, and back through the outer layer into two exhaust chambers 7. A row of supply conduits 13 and exhaust conduits 16 connect the exhaust chambers 7 to the supply chamber 6. The air in each conduit 13, 16 is heated by a respective heat exchanger 18 supplied with heated water 9. The heated air cures the epoxy resin, and the mould is then cooled by supplying cold water to the heat exchangers 18, which, in turn cools the air supplied to the mould.

  • Publication number: 20150081232
Abstract: A system or a method for measuring flow in a flow duct has at least two ultra sound transducers. The flow of air in a duct is measured by one or more transducers transmitting beams of ultra sound controlled by a microcontroller based electronic system in which the microcontroller stores a vector of data samples for each direction of transmission, which vector includes an appropriate number of N samples forming a frame, the microcontroller multiplying each value of the frame which a complex number. Based on the result, the microcontroller calculates the flow in the duct. As a result, an efficient flow measurement of air flowing in a duct can be achieved.

Abstract: The present invention relates cooling system comprising at least one Thermo syphon, which Thermo syphon comprises at least one indoor evaporator, which is by first tubing connected to at least one outdoor condenser. It is the object of the present application to achieve effective automatic cooling of electronic systems placed inside a housing. This can be achieved by a system as disclosed in that the second tubing comprises a valve, which valve comprises a valve seat and a moveable valve piston, which valve piston is by decreasing temperature by the actuator moving towards the valve seat for closing the valve. Hereby a highly efficient cooling system can be achieved which can operate automatically without any energy supply from the outside, due to the use of the Thermo syphon principle.
