Abstract: An apparatus for bending metallic and nonmetallic laminations in general and sliding covers for computer diskettes in particular, which has the particularity that it comprises a forming die provided with a lower base and a movable upper part. The lower base constitutes the forming punch and centering elements for positioning the lamination to be bent, while the movable upper part supports a presser adapted to engage the forming punch in order to retain the lamination in position and at least one bending roller which can engage the surface of the lamination without relative sliding in order to perform bending in abutment against the punch.

Abstract: The present invention relates to an elastic element structure for the reel retention ratchet gear in magnetic tape cassettes which comprises an elastic lamina with elongated extension defining a central portion for coupling to a magnetic tape cassette and two opposite branches acting, at their free end, on the respective thrust arms of the reel retention ratchets. The peculiarity of the invention resides in the fact that it comprises, at said free ends, shapings adapted to generate a thrust component in the direction of elastic preloading of said elastic lamina upon the insertion of said ratchets in said cassette along a direction substantially coinciding with their axis of oscillation.

Abstract: Flat spring structure for magnetic tape cassettes, in particular video cassettes, which comprises an elastic lamina of elongate conformation which is coupleable at a middle portion thereof with the cover of a cassette and which acts, proximate to its free end on the central pivot of the reels supporting a magnetic tape. The peculiarity of the invention is constituted by the fact that the lamina at the side thereof facing the reels, has a concave piecewise conformation with at least one fold line in the portion defined between the free end and the zone of coupling with the cover. The fold line, with the lamina inserted into the cassette, engages by contact with the cover to define a fulcrum point for elastic oscillation of said lamina.

Abstract: The mask comprises a sheet-like element having formed therein a pair of holes positionable at the hubs of a magnetic tape cassette. The holes have perimetral portions adapted to engage folded edges of openings defined by each half-shell of the cassette at the hubs. The perimetral portions are adapted to assume a curved form with concavity directed towards the hubs of the magnetic tape cassette upon said mask being coupled with one of said half-shells.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a mask for magnetic tape cassettes comprising a sheet-like element insertable between the axial ends of the reels of magnetic tape and the inner walls of the box-like shell of the cassette and defining a pair of through holes located at the hubs of said reels. The peculiarity of the invention resides in the fact that the sheet-like element defines at least one centering ridge with high elastic rigidity which engages at least partially with the peripheral region of the axial ends of said hubs, for centering of the hubs with respect to the middle plane of the cassette, and at least one alignment ridge with very low elastic rigidity engageable with the longitudinal edges of the magnetic tape, for aligning the windings of the reel of magnetic tape.

Abstract: A magnetic tape backing leaf spring which includes a reed element comprising a working portion engageable directly with a tape and two supporting portions connected to the working portions by two stepped zones, the working portion getting elastically deformed when a magnetic head is inserted into the cassette, to press the tape against the magnetic head, while the angles between the stepped zones, the supporting portions and the working portion keep constant, the reed element being provided at its ends with projections extending in the longitudinal direction of it, and defining a swinging axis for the reed element along its longitudinal development.
