Abstract: According to some aspects, a method of operating a data processing system is provided wherein at least one computer program is configured, the data processing system comprising least a first control, a second control and a third control, the first, second and third controls comprising at least user interface portions and operational portions, the method comprising rendering a first user interface based on the user interface portion of the first control, receiving first user input through the first user interface, the first user input providing configuration information for the at least one program, identifying the second control based at least in part on the operational portion of the first control, rendering a second user interface based on the user interface portion of the identified second control, and receiving second user input through the second user interface, the second user input providing configuration information for the at least one program.

Abstract: Interactions with data stored in a data storage system are managed through a view of an interface provided on a display. Information specifying multiple data elements and multiple groupings of related data elements is received. At least one of the data elements is a member of multiple of the groupings. A view is rendered that includes tokens representing respective data elements. At least some tokens include a selectable indicator including portions that indicate membership of the data element represented by that token in each of multiple groupings of related data elements. A first selection of a portion of one of the selectable indicators is received, corresponding to a first selected grouping of related data elements. In response to the first selection, tokens representing one or more other members of the first selected grouping of related data elements are rendered in the view.

Abstract: Records received from one or more sources in a network are processed. For each of multiple intervals of time, a matching procedure is attempted on sets of one or more records, including comparing identifiers associated with different records to generate the sets and determining whether or not a completeness criterion is satisfied for one or more of the sets. The processing also includes, for at least some of the intervals of time, processing at least one complete set, consisting of one or more of the received records on which the matching procedure is first attempted during the interval of time and one or more records stored in a data store before the interval of time, and for at least some of the intervals of time, processing at least one incomplete set, consisting of one or more records stored in the data store before the interval of time.

Abstract: Managing data by: receiving a group of individually accessible data units, each data unit identified by a key value, with key values determined such that the key value identifying a first data unit received before a second data unit occurs earlier in a sort order than the key value identifying the second data unit; and processing the data units for storage in a data storage system. The processing includes: storing blocks of data, the blocks being generated by combining a plurality of the data units; providing an index with entries that enable location, based on a provided key value, of a block that includes a data unit corresponding to the provided key value; and generating one or more screening data structures associated with the blocks for determining, based on a given key value, whether to search the stored blocks for a data unit corresponding to the given key value.

Abstract: A specification of a graphical representation of task dependency has a plurality of task elements each associated with a different task, a resource element having a plurality of attachment locations, and linking elements coupling the task elements to the resource element at the plurality of associated attachment locations. Associations of task elements to attachment locations on the resource element specify an ordering constraint on the tasks associated with the task elements. The tasks are executed according to the graphical representation of task dependency.
