    Abstract: Screening cylinders for screening lignocellulose-containing fibrous material are disclosed. The cylinders are formed from longitudinal bars separated by gaps, and support rings extending around the circumference of the cylinders to support the bars, as well as longitudinal strips whose outer surfaces are a greater distance from the support rings than are the bars.
