Abstract: The present invention relates to equipment for straightening deformed vehicles or vehicle parts and includes a frame of beams on which the vehicle is fastened. One or more straightening devices can be fastened to the frame. The equipment has a U-shaped cross-section by being built-up from an upper and a lower plate and an intermediate plate, that joins them at some distance from their ends. This permits the fastening device to be brought into contact with the upper, lower and outer sides of a frame beam. Further the fastening device is provided with a blocking element which can be made to grip around the lower, inner corner of the beam and to be in contact with a lower part of the inner side of the beam and thereby lock the fastening device to the beam.
Abstract: According to the invention an arrangement (10) is proposed for measuring and checking motorcycle frames, comprising a measuring beam (14) which is attached to one side of the motorcycle frame which is to be checked, parallel thereto and preferably at the so-called pivot-point of the frame. One or more uprights (16, 18) at right-angles to the beam (14) can be moved along the beam and themselves bear movable mountings (24, 28) with adjustable measuring points (26, 30). The latter can be made to seek out desired points on the frame, and with the aid of appropriate scales or calibrations the co-ordinates of the points relative to the pivot point can be determined. Two such measuring arrangements (10) placed one on each side of the motorcycle frame can be connected together by means of transverse bridges or the like to form a stable measuring stand.
Abstract: A device for periodic, automatic, readable recording of a meter value from a consumption measuring meter including a casing attachable to an otherwise conventional meter and provided with a slot, a printing unit disposed within the casing and located out of the plane of the slot in order to be tamper-proof, the printing unit being composed of an identification data printer and a consumption value printer and being adapted upon insertion of a record card in the slot of the casing to apply to the record card a visually readable marking of the identification data and meter consumption value, and a push button connected to the printing unit and manually actuable for causing the marking to be applied to the record card by shifting the printing unit towards the record card inserted into the casing through the slot.
