Abstract: An uninterruptible power supply, UPS, arrangement for subsea applications, including a container arranged and configured for subsea operation, and the following main modules arranged inside the container: at least one battery module of a predetermined battery capacity; at least one UPS module governing the battery module, the UPS module having a predetermined UPS capacity; at least one control module configured for interfacing and managing the battery module and the UPS module. The UPS arrangement is arranged and configured to vary its overall capacity based on at least the number of battery and UPS modules, wherein the at least one battery module and the at least one UPS module are internally arranged such that the heat losses from the UPS module are used to heat the battery module.

Abstract: A system and method for self-calibrating optical turbidity measurements includes a housing comprising a cavity with an inner wall having an essentially straight section and an opening for the medium. Abstract: The disclosed embodiments describe a partially caged rotor for use in an interior permanent magnet motor and techniques for fabricating thereof. In some embodiments, a caged rotor includes: a rotor core having a shaft; a rotor cage comprising a plurality of conductor bars; and a plurality of permanent magnets at least partially disposed inside a plurality of mounting holes of the core, the plurality of permanent magnets and the plurality of mounting holes forming a plurality of cavities inside the core; wherein each conductor bar is disposed at a respective cavity of the plurality of cavities such that the plurality of conductor bars is of a number greater or equal to 8 and less or equal to 64.

Abstract: A method for loading a container on a landing target on a land vehicle using a container crane including a trolley and a spreader for holding and lifting the container. The method is performed in a container crane control system and includes the steps of: obtaining two-dimensional images of the landing target from a first pair of cameras arranged on the spreader; performing feature extraction based on the two-dimensional images to identify key features of the landing target; generating a point cloud based on the feature extraction, wherein each point in the point cloud contains coordinates in three dimensions; and controlling movement of the container to the landing target based on the point cloud and the identified key features of the landing target.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a method and pre-trained rule engine for providing an assistance to correct abnormal event encountered for equipment. Real-time information related to the equipment is received, upon identification of the abnormal event. At least one data is selected from historic data, expert opinion data and equipment standard data associated with the equipment based on real-time state information related to the equipment. The received real-time information is analyzed using the selected at least one data. An assistance is generated for correcting the abnormal event based on the analysis. The assistance is provided to an operator for correcting the abnormal event.

The processing unit determines a temperature magnitude comprising utilization of the first temperature data and/or the second temperature data, and determines a rate of change of temperature. The processing unit predicts a temperature at a location of the device using the temperature magnitude, the rate of change of temperature, and a correlation, wherein the correlation is a correlation of a plurality of temperature magnitudes and a plurality of rate of change of temperatures at the sensor location with a plurality of hotspot temperatures at the location.

Abstract: A system and method for monitoring a circuit breaker monitoring system includes a vibration sensor, a processing unit, and an output unit. The vibration sensor is mounted to a circuit breaker acquires a temporal vibration signal over at least a temporal portion of a closing operation of the circuit breaker, wherein the closing operation comprises: initiation of the closing operation, latch release, movement of a moveable contact towards a fixed contact, contact touch of the moveable contact with the fixed contact, and stop of movement of the moveable contact. The vibration sensor provides the temporal vibration signal to the processing unit, which determines a plurality of features of the closing operation and an indication of operational functionality of the circuit breaker.
Abstract: A method of calibrating a delta robot, the method including executing an arm movement by moving one driving link relative to other two driving links; measuring a movement of a point in fixed relationship with a tilting body during the arm movement as an arm measurement; executing a tilting movement by tilting the tilting body about a fifth axis; measuring a movement of the point during the tilting movement as a tilting measurement; and calibrating a fourth axis based on a comparison of the arm measurement and the tilting measurement. A method of calibrating the fifth axis, a control system, and a robot system are also provided.
