    Abstract: This disclosure relates to novel silicone compounds containing alkenyl thio functional groups and their method of preparation. These compounds are useful as adhesion promoters for self-adhering silicone rubbers capable of bonding to inorganic substrates especially metals. The silicone rubber-metal composites have particular applications in semiconductor devices and in ignition systems for automobiles.
