  • Publication number: 20200240825
Abstract: An electrode for a liquid level sensor adapted for a determination of a liquid level of an electrically conductive liquid in a container is disclosed. The electrode comprises a first end configured for an electrically conductive contact with a sensor component of the liquid level sensor and a second end opposite the first end. The electrode is formed of one or more non-metallic materials of which at least one is an electrically conductive non-metal that is in electrically conductive contact with the first end of the electrode, wherein the at least one electrically conductive non-metal is configured for an electrically conductive contact with the electrically conductive liquid.

  • Patent number: 9200723
Abstract: The system for opening and/or closing an inlet valve (10) and/or an outlet valve (30) of a liquid container (24), particularly for water toilets, water tanks or the like, comprises an inlet tube (16) with an inlet valve (10) in the upper portion of the container (24) and an outlet tube (20) with an outlet valve (30) in the bottom portion (25) of the container (24), both valves (10, 30) being provided with a valve body. It is characterized by the use of a bistabile inlet valve (10) having a lag-free opening and closing characteristic without any intermediate opening position of the valve body (14; 38, 46), the closing stroke of the valve body being assisted by the flow of the liquid.

  • Publication number: 20080085446
Abstract: In a system made up of battery units (2) and corresponding terminal connectors (10), the battery units may be combined in different ways in order to obtain larger battery groups. Each battery unit (2) has one surface that forms a terminal area (3) and that includes two terminals (6, 7), this surface having longitudinal edges (4) with a length (a), and lateral edges (5) with a width (b), (a) being equal or nearly equal to (2b), and the distance of each terminal (6, 7) to the longitudinal edges (4), as well as to the adjacent narrow edge (5) being equal or nearly equal to (b/2). A terminal connector (10) connects two terminals (6, 7) of adjacent battery units (2, 2?) and includes an electrical junction (12) having two connection points (16, 17) at its ends and a span equal or nearly equal to (b). Vertical connectors may be provided to interconnect terminals of battery units belonging to different layers of stacked up batteries.

  • Patent number: 6943566
Abstract: A sensor is applied to the wall of a container or is integrated into the wall. An alternating voltage is applied to the sensor in order to measure the level of the contents of the container, the capacitance or the electrical field produced being a measure for the fill level.
