Abstract: A damping extrusion, preferably made from a thermoplastic vulcanizate (TPV), for use with a clip for piping/tubing/ducting comprises an elongate body having a side wall at, or towards each side, an upper surface that, in use, faces the clip, and a lower surface that, in use, faces the piping/tubing/ducting. The damping extrusion comprises a first protrusion extending from the lower surface at, or towards each side of the elongate body and a second protrusion extending from the lower surface at, or about a centre of the elongate body. An inner wall of at least one of the first protrusions is concave and at least one or both of the side walls of the elongate body has a concave recess.
Abstract: A bracket of a unitary construction and being of a substantial U-shape having a first elongate section and opposed extension sections extending from opposed free ends of said elongate section, and at an angle to the plane of said elongate section, the arrangement including a slot which extends across at least part of said elongate section and at least part of one of said extension sections.
Abstract: A masonry brick tie is disclosed which includes two discrete members (1) and (10), each in use being adapted to be disposed in a mortar course of a brick wall in a cavity brick structure. The members (1) and (10) are releasable interconnectable at the respective free ends thereof, thereby facilitating installation thereof within a cavity brick wall structure and yet in no way affecting the strength or operating effectiveness thereof.
