Patent number: 5647157Abstract: A tension panel includes a frame, and a retaining device affixed to and retaining respective corners of a display sheet. A stretching and fixing assembly is provided which includes an L-shaped bar formed by two legs joined together to define a bent region of the bar. The legs each have a free end attached to the frame so that the bar is movable from a raised position, through an intermediate position, to a lowered position in which the bar lies essentially flush with the frame. The assembly further includes a resilient member having one end attached to the bent region of the bar, and another end attached to the retaining device for exerting a tensile force on the retaining device when the bar is in the lowered position. The tensile force extends in a direction along an imaginary line that divides an interior angle of the respective corner into two angles, so as to stretch and fix the display sheet on the frame. When the bar is in the raised position, the tensile force is not exerted.Type: GrantFiled: April 20, 1995Date of Patent: July 15, 1997Assignee: Abisare Co., Ltd.Inventor: Keiji Kasahara

Patent number: 5508086Abstract: An electrostatic notice board system in which characters can be written on the surface while attraction force sufficient to hold objects thereon being maintained. In the system, a hard coating material layer is formed at the surface off the attraction layer consisting of a layered dielectric substance and the back face of the attraction layer is provided with a pair of positive and negative electrodes in the form of comb-teeth, so that the objects such as paper sheets are attracted and held by coulomb force on the surface of the hard coating material layer. The hard coating material layer is, for example, formed by applying acrylic urethane coating material to the surface of the attraction layer and hardening the material with ultraviolet ray irradiation. The hard coating material layer has a volume resistivity of 10.sup.10 .OMEGA. cm or more and thickness of 50 .mu. or less.Type: GrantFiled: July 14, 1993Date of Patent: April 16, 1996Assignee: Abisare, Co., Ltd.Inventor: Keiji Kasahara

Patent number: 5486974Abstract: The object is to prevent the degradation of an attraction layer in an electrostatic attraction board system when objects are attracted for a long time. The electrostatic attraction board system comprises a coating layer disposed over the surface of the attraction layer formed of a layered dielectric substance and a pair of positive/negative comb-teeth like electrodes disposed in a laminating structure on the back face of the attraction layer. Objects such as paper sheets are attracted and held on the surface of the coating layer by coulomb force, The coating layer is formed of a plastic material such as biaxial drawn polyester having a low oxygen permeability and a low vapor permeability, and has a volume resistivity of 10.sup.10 .OMEGA.cm or more and thickness of 5 to 50.mu..Type: GrantFiled: August 27, 1993Date of Patent: January 23, 1996Assignee: Abisare Co., Ltd.Inventor: Keiji Kasahara

Patent number: 5229910Abstract: The invention relates to a billboard device suitable for use in posting a sheet of advertisement of guide bill, in particular, on the structure of a vehicle. The billboard device eliminates the necessity of using elastic material such as cardboard for sheets or bills and does not impair the design aesthetics of the bills. The billboard device includes an electrostatic attracting plate which has an attracting layer of dielectric material and at least one pair of comb-tooth shaped electrodes formed on the back surface of the attracting layer. The electrostatic attracting plate is warped so that the attracting layer is concave on the front surface. Voltage is applied to central comb-tooth electrodes first, and then the comb-tooth electrodes surrounding the central electrodes.Type: GrantFiled: February 22, 1991Date of Patent: July 20, 1993Assignee: Abisare Co., Ltd.Inventor: Keiji Kasahara

Patent number: 4978118Abstract: A paper sheet transporting method comprises a step of superposing a paper sheet on a reinforcing sheet and a step of affording an electrostatic attractive force between the sheets due to electrostatic charges given thereto. The reinforcing sheet is made of a substance selected from plastics that are of a highly insulating nature and retain the electrostatic charge for a long period of time so as to have a remaining attractive force. A step of gripping the thus electrostatically charged sheets between a pair of transporting rollers is carried out so as to transport the sheets in a tangential direction of the rollers while the sheets are still sticking to each other. The paper sheet is transported by the reinforcing sheet to a work station therefor without producing any deformation or torsion, and the paper sheet is removed from the reinforcing sheet after being processed at the work station.Type: GrantFiled: June 13, 1989Date of Patent: December 18, 1990Assignee: Abisare Co., Ltd.Inventor: Keiji Kasahara
