  • Patent number: 11892583
Abstract: A method for applying separated wave-field imaging onshore (1) by artificially creating up-going and down-going fields and (2) by using these fields in a migration algorithm. If there are any surface multiples in the data, the resulting image created using the migration algorithm will be distorted by the unknown free-surface reflection coefficient. In fact, the surface multiples may be generated with a complex series of reflection coefficients. The distortions found in the resulting image created using the migration algorithm are then removed.

  • Patent number: 11851988
Abstract: A well unloading valve for a petrochemical well tubing comprising a flow passage connecting an annulus outside the tubing with the inside of the tubing; a lock-out sleeve for selectively closing the flow passage, wherein the lock-out sleeve can be moved from an open to a closed position by means of hydraulic pressure within the tubing; an electrically activated motor module for moving a seal, wherein the seal selectively opens a hydraulic connection from the inside of tubing to the lock-out sleeve for moving the lock-out sleeve hydraulically from the open to the closed position; and a check valve within the flow passage for allowing a flow from the annulus into the tubing and for blocking a flow from the tubing into the annulus. Further a method for unloading a petrochemical well tubing is claimed.

  • Patent number: 11840922
Abstract: The present invention relates to a blow-out preventer BOP test spool system, comprising a test spool to be mounted between a well head and a blow-out preventer; the test spool having an inner cylindrical hole extending in vertical direction of the test spool; the inner cylindrical hole in vertical direction comprising an upper section and a lower section, wherein the lower section comprises a smaller inner diameter than the inner diameter of the upper section; and a test plug, insertable into the inner cylindrical hole of the test spool, the test plug having a cylindrical outer shape with an outer diameter that is smaller than the inner diameter of the upper section and is larger than the inner diameter of the lower section, such that the plug can abut a loading shoulder between the upper and lower section and the plug is not able to move further down within the test spool. The invention also relates to a corresponding method for testing a blow-out preventer.

  • Patent number: 11262466
Abstract: A method of seismic acquisition using a dispersed-source array (DSA) comprising two or more sources. The method comprises determining, for each of the two or more sources of the DSA, an individual spectrally-banded waveform. For each of the two or more sources, a primary waveform is formed by repeating the individual spectrally-banded waveform. For each of the two or more sources, a secondary waveform is formed based on the primary waveform. The secondary waveform is spectrally shifted relative to the primary waveform such that secondary waveforms of any two of the two or more sources are spectrally non-overlapping. The blending operator based on the secondary waveform of each of the two or more sources is provided to the DSA. The method also includes performing deblended-data reconstruction of acquired seismic data using one or more properties of the blending operators of the two or more sources.
