  • Patent number: 10165898
Abstract: A coffee bean conveyance device includes a conveying unit, a coffee bean holding unit and a driving mechanism. The conveying unit is a hollow member detachably assembled to the coffee bean holding unit, such that the coffee bean holding unit and the conveying unit are internally communicable with each other. The driving mechanism is eccentrically connected to the conveying unit, such that axes of the conveying unit and driving mechanism are parallelly spaced from each other. When the driving mechanism operates, coffee beans in the coffee bean holding unit are caused to stably move into the conveying unit and a constant weight or quantity of coffee beans is continuously fed to a coffee bean grinder or a coffee bean dispenser disposed below an outlet of the conveying unit. With these arrangements, the feeding of irregular weight or quantity of coffee beans to the coffee bean grinder or dispenser is avoided.

  • Publication number: 20170295984
Abstract: A method for examining beverage brewing and extracting process includes the steps of adding a solvent to a solute, mixing the solvent and the solute together to produce a solution, and subjecting the solution to an extraction process to output an extract liquid; measuring a solvent weight increase per unit time of the added solvent and measuring an extract liquid weight increase per unit time of the output extract liquid at the same time during the step of adding the solvent to the solute; and performing a calculation on the solvent weight increase and the extract liquid weight increase to output a graphic data to represent the extraction process. By referring to the graphic data, even an inexperienced brewing operator can always ensure a consistent taste for the brewed solution.

  • Publication number: 20170295983
Abstract: A method and a system are disclosed for managing a brewing process in which a solution is produced by mixing a solvent with a solute and a beverage is extracted from the solution. The system includes a temperature sensor device for sensing a temperature change per unit time of the solvent to create temperature information; a first measurement device for sensing a weight increase per unit time of the beverage to create first weight information while counting the time elapsed in the brewing process to create timing information; and a computing device comparing preset standard-state information with the temperature, first weight and timing information. A warning message is displayed on the computing device to remind a brewing operator to stop brewing the beverage when any of the temperature, first weight and timing information created at a specific unit time does not match the standard-state information of the same unit time.

  • Publication number: 20170280913
Abstract: A knockdown pour-over kettle includes a kettle body and a first and a second kettle cover that are detachably assembled together. The first kettle cover can be installed in a first end of the kettle body to close the first end or removed from the first end to open the same. The second kettle cover can be detachably installed in a second end of the kettle body and has a base portion and a spout portion. Differently sized spout portions can be selectively detachably coupled to an end of a communicating passage formed in the base portion to communicate with a liquid storing space in the kettle body for pouring water. A third kettle cover can take the place of the second kettle cover to close the second end, so that the assembled kettle body and first and third kettle covers together form a thermo flask structure.
