  • Patent number: 11036757
Abstract: This document described digital decoupling architectures that enable existing computing systems to run in parallel with new computing technologies. In some aspects, a method includes receiving, by a digital decoupling system and from a source computing system, one or more updated data sets that each include data that has been updated at the source computing system. A source data entry of a source table of a database of the digital decoupling system is updated based on each updated data set. In response to detecting the change to the source table, a target data entry that includes data of the updated source data entry is added to a target table of the database. An adapter module obtains the data of the target data entry and generates an event that specifies the data of the target data entry. The event is sent to one or more destination computing elements.

  • Publication number: 20210173935
Abstract: Systems and methods are provided to identify security vulnerabilities related to containerization platforms. Container images may be received from a repository, and scanned for security vulnerabilities. Containers may be automatically generated and updated with security updates when the images are extracted and identified. Updated versions of images may be generated based on the updated containers. Stored security vulnerability may be automatically updated with CVE information received from external databases at regular intervals, or upon receiving a scan request. Scan results may be generated, stored and compared. Vulnerability comparisons may be generated for an initial version of an image and an updated version of the image that includes the implemented security updates that rectify the identifiable security vulnerabilities.

  • Publication number: 20210176242
Abstract: An adaptive user authentication system is disclosed that executes user authentication by verifying user identity using different authentication steps based on a risk score. The risk score enables determining if the requesting user's identity is to be verified. If it is determined that the user identity is to be verified, a sequence of authentication steps is implemented wherein more and more data is collected regarding the user as the user fails to be authenticated at each of the authentication steps. A first authentication step includes a numerical-based authentication step followed by a second authentication step including a live image authentication. If the user fails to be authenticated at either the first or the second authentication steps then a third authentication step to verify the user's passport is implemented.

  • Patent number: 11023489
Abstract: An asset tracking system helps an enterprise correctly and efficiently determine when assets are created and when they are re-used. Re-use of assets often creates a positive impact, e.g., on other projects ongoing within the enterprise. The system detects the asset re-use, determines the asset impact, and automatically updates a dynamic profile of the asset creator to register the value of their work. In some implementations, the system implements a virtual currency system that also rewards the supervisors of the asset creator, and allows the virtual currency to be exchanged for project resources needed by the supervisors.

  • Patent number: 11025061
Abstract: A power usage prediction system implements a long short term memory (LSTM) neural network to receive power usage inputs and generate predicted values of power consumption for a plurality of devices. A user provides configuration input regarding the time steps at which the predicted values are to be generated and the various devices for which the predicted values of power consumption are desired. Whenever a power usage input is received, the LSTM neural network outputs the corresponding hidden state values for a plurality of time steps as the predicted values. The hidden state values are each compared to a final cell state value corresponding to a power consumption threshold of the time interval which includes the time steps. Based on the comparison, a power usage condition is recorded. Various actions to mitigate the high power consumption can be implemented in response to recording the power usage condition.

  • Patent number: 11023551
Abstract: An information request processor analyzes an information request and automatically selects search queries and information sources that are responsive to the information request. Prior reports and portions of browsing history that were generated during the creation of the prior reports are selected based at least on a primary entity included in the information request. The entities extracted from the prior reports using trained Information Extraction (IE) models are mapped to the search terms extracted from the portions of the browsing history in order to identify the successful search queries that provided the information for the prior reports. A report responsive to the information request can be generated either automatically or by receiving user input that validates and rephrases the successful search queries.

  • Patent number: 11010237
Abstract: A system for detecting and preventing an imminent failure in a target system includes an interface, a processor in communication with the interface, and non-transitory computer readable media in communication with the processor. The interface receives training data items. Each item corresponds to either a service ticket or a machine-generated log that specifies an issue and a resolution to the issue. The instruction code is executed by the processor and causes the processor to group the training data items according to different categories. For each group, the processor trains a model to match the issue of each item of the group with the corresponding resolution and associates a model configuration of the trained model with the category of the group. The processor receives a sequence of new data items that include service tickets or machine generated logs for which a resolution is unknown. The processor groups the new data items according to one or more categories.
