Abstract: A wireless network connection method includes the following steps: a wireless network access point (AP) that receives apparatus identification information of a wireless network apparatus through a wireless network. The wireless network AP generates a temporary encryption key according to the apparatus identification information and AP identification information of the wireless network AP. The wireless network AP encrypts a network transmission key according to the temporary encryption key to generate an encrypted key. The AP identification information and the encrypted key are transmitted to the wireless network apparatus. The wireless network apparatus generates the temporary encryption key according to the apparatus identification information and the received AP identification information. The wireless network apparatus decrypts the encrypted key according to the temporary encryption key to generate the network transmission key.

The method comprises: (A) setting an upper-limit variable, a lower-limit variable, and a middle variable equaling a first outcome of computation according to a formula H; (B) setting a third program with its priority index equaling the middle variable; (C) setting the upper-limit variable equaling the middle variable and then the middle variable equaling a second outcome of computation according to the formula H, if the third program is run by the computer; otherwise, setting the lower-limit variable equaling the middle variable and then the middle variable equaling the second outcome; (D) repeating the steps (B) and (C), until the difference between the upper-limit or lower-limit variable and the middle variable satisfies a first predetermined value; and (E) outputting the value of the middle variable.

Abstract: A method of controlling a connection of a station to different access points (AP) in roaming, in which the station is connected to a first AP through identification of basic service set context (BSS context), includes the following steps: a) Obtain received signal strength indications (RSSI) between the station and each access point. b) Copy the BSS context of the first AP to a second AP when the RSSI between the station and the first AP is less than RSSI between the station and the second AP; and c) disconnect the station from the first AP, and automatically connect the station to the second AP which has the same BSS context.

Abstract: A device support structure is provided. Two corresponding sides of a base of the device support structure extend upwards vertically from the base to form a first sidewall and a second sidewall. The base includes a configuration portion adjacent to the two sidewalls, which includes a front seat and a rear seat. A plurality of hook members are configured on the front seat for hooking a network device disposed on the front seat. Two sides of the network device are supported by the two sidewalls. A stopping member is configured on the front end of the base for abutting against a front end of the network device configured on the front seat. A device latching portion is configured on the rear seat for guiding and fixing a power adapter of the network device to the rear seat.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a network device and an authentication method thereof. When one network device is connected with another one, the two network devices may respectively receive and transfer an authentication reporting packet each other. Accordingly, the network devices may compare context of the received authentication reporting packet and a stored authentication type information, a digest information, and an authentication protocol information for determining whether process the following specific protocol packet according to the comparison result.

Abstract: The present invention discloses a microphone comprising a first electrode, a second electrode, a printed circuit board and a shielding layer. The microphone is configured into a mobile communication device. The shielding layer located on the printed circuit board is disposed on the microphone. When the mobile communication device charges with an AC power supply and communicates with others simultaneously, the shielding layer can diminish the 50˜60 Hz noise produced by the AC power supply. Owing to the shielding layer reduces the EMI effect; the talking quality of the mobile communication device is thereby enormously improved.

Abstract: A communication system includes a microprocessor, a WiFi device, a WiMAX device, common antennas, and switching devices. The common antennas are for receiving a WiFi signal and a WiMAX signal. Each of the switching devices has an input terminal coupled to the corresponding common antenna, a first output terminal coupled to the WiFi device and a second output terminal coupled to the WiMAX device. When the communication system is applied to a WiFi system, the microprocessor controls the switching devices to isolate the WiMAX signal and couple the WiFi signal via the first output terminals to the WiFi device; when the communication system is applied to a WiMAX system, the microprocessor controls the switching devices to isolate the WiFi signal and couple the WiMAX signal via the second output terminals to the WiMAX device.

Abstract: A management method of an optical fiber network system is disclosed. The optical fiber network system includes at least one user apparatus and an optical network unit (ONU), and the ONU is connected with the user apparatus. The management method includes the steps of: adopting at least one information string, which is set by an ONU management and control interface (OMCI), by the optical network unit; packing the information string into a management packet; and transmitting the management packet to the user apparatus by the optical network unit according to an Ethernet protocol.

Abstract: A fan bracket and the fan fixing apparatus using the same are disclosed, in which the fan bracket, including a pair of fixing members, is used for fixing a fan assembly inside a housing. Each fixing member has a first panel and two positioning elements, in which the first panel is configured with a first end, a second end and a first side in a manner that the first and the second ends are located opposite to one another while enabling the first side to be located between the two ends. Abstract: The present invention relates to a fixing structure for electronic apparatuses and to an accommodating apparatus using the same. The electronic apparatus, such as a network apparatus, has fixing holes on both sides. Both ends of a fixing part have holes, respectively. Besides, one end of the fixing part has a slot. The fixing part is fixed on a support, such as the stands in a rack, or on a fixing surface, such as a wall, via the slot and the holes, and thus is positioned on the support or on the fixing surface. Hence, the electronic apparatus is fixed on the support or on the fixing surface. Accordingly, the dual-use fixing structure according to the present invention can fix the electronic apparatus on the support or on the fixing surface without the need of changing the fixing part, and hence reducing spatial limitations on installing electronic apparatuses. Additionally, the holes can be further used to reinforce fixing firmness when the electronic apparatus is hung through the slot of the fixing part.

Abstract: In a multi-carrier and multi-rate CDMA system, a base station transmits an index tag to a number of mobile stations. The index tag has a length indicating a transmission rate and all index tags are nodes in a code tree. In the code tree, mother nodes and their child nodes block each other and are not assigned to the mobile stations at the same time. At the same time, index tags of nodes in the same level of the code tree map are orthogonal to each other. The mobile station constructs an index tag matrix according to the index tag. Then, the index tag matrix is multiplied with a generating matrix that is stored in every mobile station to generate a spreading factor matrix whose rows respectively correspond to different carriers.

Abstract: The present invention provides an adaptive infotainment device, comprising a display unit, a processing module, and a network module. The processing module is coupled to the display unit to decrypt and process the multi-media content. The network module is coupled to the processing module to receive the multi-media content and selecting paths and accessing nodes. The network module collects the usage log to be processed by the processing module to generate an accumulated user profile to be fused with user default information in a user default unit coupled to the processing module to generate at least one threshold value so that the display unit is capable of displaying the processed multi-media content according to the threshold value. Hence, the user's network behavior can be learned by combining the pre-determined preferences and the past usage preferences so as to generate the most favorable displaying means to enhance the convenience for browsing information.

Abstract: A network management method is applied to a network management system, which includes at least one user apparatus and a network managing agent apparatus connected to the user apparatus. The management method includes the steps of: adopting at least one information string, which is set by a network management protocol established for at least one layer except a data-link layer, by the network managing agent apparatus; packing the information string into a managing packet; and transmitting the managing packet to the user apparatus through the data-link layer according to an Ethernet protocol by the network managing agent apparatus.

Abstract: A pluggable guiding apparatus is used for an opening of a case and there are two guiding elements arranged at two sides of the opening. The pluggable guiding apparatus includes: a main frame, wherein the size of the main frame is corresponding to the opening of the case and the main frame is divided into a plurality of sub-slot openings; and a plurality of sub-guiding elements arranged on the main frame, wherein the sub-guiding elements are arranged on two sides of the sub-slot openings, and the sub-guiding elements and guiding elements are set face to face for guiding a plurality of pluggable sub-modules to be inserted into the case.
