Abstract: An apparatus facilitates folding of a blank to form a box. When the blank is pressed into the apparatus, corner panels of the blank are initially folded by folding surfaces of the apparatus so that the corner panels are disposed inside side panel surfaces of the blank, which are folded by other folding surfaces of the apparatus. The apparatus further includes folding surfaces for folding the side and end panels of the blank into a vertical position. A base panel of the blank, and the side panels, end panels and the corner panels which are attached to the base panel, are received in an interior aperture of the apparatus during folding of the blank to form the box.

Abstract: A carton and a box-blank for making a carton are made of a material having two layers, such as a laminated corrugated cardboard, and are provided with a substantially separable section and a tear strip for separating the outer layer from the inner layer such that the inner layer forms a collar to at least partially define an opening in the carton made from the box-blank, the separable section being established by a non-adherent area which is made by using a non-adherent coating, a non-adherent tape or a crushed area in one layer and non-selectively applying an adhesive to such one layer.

Abstract: A display container having a display window to display articles of manufacture held in the container is provided with at least three panels and a bottom panel which is formed from a cut-out section partially cut from one of the panels, yet remaining connected to at least one panel so that the cut-out section can be folded between the panels to form the bottom panel. A second cut-out section can be partially cut from another panel so that it remains connected to at least one panel whereby it can be folded to form a top panel for the container.
