The handheld device is adapted for wirelessly receiving GPS tracking data from a satellite tracking system, wirelessly receiving transmitted RF data from electronically equipped sports objects, and/or wirelessly transmitting RF data to a computer controlled network. The system is also capable of on-board analysis of obtained data.
