Abstract: A golf tee 10 comprising an upper section 11 configured to receive a ball and a lower section 12 configured to engage the ground. The upper and lower sections 11, 12 are movably and/or releasably engagable with respect to each other such that, in use, the upper section 11 moves and/or becomes detached from the lower section 12 should a golf club contact the upper portion 11 and/or should a ball positioned on the upper section 11 be struck by a golf club.
