Abstract: A method for creating three-dimensional object and a three-dimensional printing system (a) provide a substrate; (b) provide construction material to coat the substrate; (c) curie a portion of the construction material on the substrate to create an object on the substrate; (d) remove excess construction material from the substrate; (e) cut an outline around the object created on the substrate; (f) repeating (a)-(e) until a desired number of substrates with an object created thereon have been processed; (g) stack the processed substrates; and (h) finish the stacked processed substrates to bond the stacked processed substrates together.

Abstract: A method and system applying glue to a fabric to create a bonded seam by applying a carrier liquid to a predetermined area of a first piece of fabric and in a pre-determined pattern; applying uniformly, to the first piece of fabric, particles of a powdered elastomer such that the particles of the powdered elastomer adhere to the applied carrier liquid; removing excess particles of the powdered elastomer, the excess particles of the powdered elastomer being particles of the powdered elastomer not adhering to the applied carrier liquid; applying a second piece of fabric to the predetermined area of a first piece of fabric; and curing the particles of a powdered elastomer to create a bonded seam between the first piece of fabric and the second piece of fabric.

Abstract: A staged printing system includes: a printing station for printing an image upon an object; a curing station, operatively connected to the printing station, for curing the image printed upon the object; and a pretreatment station, operatively connected to the printing station, for pretreating the object before printing an image upon the object. The printing station includes a plurality of vertically mounted print heads for ejecting ink and a rotating platform for rotating the object as the plurality of vertically mounted print heads eject ink upon the object.

Abstract: A colorimetric based sensor system includes a low power communication system to harvest energy from an interrogator and to broadcast information to the interrogator; a controller operatively connected to the low power communication system; a light emitter, operatively connected to the controller, to emit light; a light detector, operatively connected to the controller, to convert receive light into electrical signals; and a colorimetric based sensor, having a changeable color patch and in optical communication with the light detector and the light emitter, to measure a condition of an object of interest.
