Abstract: In an electrical plug and socket connector assembly, each conducting terminal of each of the electrical plug connector and electrical socket connector defines two side panels spaced by a gap, a connection portion connected between one end of each of the two side panels, and two contact end portions respectively forwardly extended from respective opposite ends of the two side panels. Subject to the design of the connection portion, the contact end portions of each conducting terminal of the electrical plug connector can be kept in positive contact with the inner surfaces of the contact end portions and side panels of the mating conducting terminal of the mating electrical socket connector, lowering the impedance and temperature, smoothing conduction of power supply and assuring a high level of safety.
Abstract: A stackable board-to-board module connector is mainly composed of a main module unit, at least one accessory module unit, several first terminals and second terminals. The main module unit combines with the accessory module unit to form a connector. The main module unit can be a standard device, while the accessory module unit can be an independent device that serves as a stackable accessory to adjust the height according to the total height requirement of board-to-board module connector. Through such a main module unit or a stack of several accessory module units, various height specifications can be achieved for a board-to-board module connector. In other words, it only needs to change the number of the accessory module units embedded in the bottom of the main module unit, the height requirement for a board-to-board module connector can be met. By this means, it is not necessary to prepare molds repeatedly.
Abstract: An electric connector includes a female connector holding two sets of terminals connected to a circuit substrate, and a male connector holding a ribbon cable and a set of terminals for connection to the terminals of the female connector, the female connector having a middle hollow and a protruding locating frame disposed in the hollow, the terminals of the female connector each having a contact portion inserted into the hollow and suspended in the protruding locating frame at one side for contacting one terminal of the male connector, the male connector having a bottom hole adapted to receive the protruding locating frame of the female connector, the terminals of the male connector each having inverted U-shaped bottom contact portion suspended in the bottom hole of the male connector and adapted to contact the terminals of the female connector, and a U-shaped top retaining portion electrically connected to the ribbon cable.
