    Abstract: The air inlet neck, in particular for the air admission system in an internal combustion engine, comprises a mixing chamber (10) into which open a cold air admission pipe (4) and a hot air admission pipe (14). The mixing chamber (10) communicates with an outlet pipe (15) for the air of the mixing chamber. One of said pipes (4) is coaxial with the mixing chamber (10) and includes closing means constituted by flaps (5) pivotally connected to the admission pipe (4) and actuated by a cylindrical member (9) mounted to be movable between a position of complete closure of the admission pipe (4) by the flaps (5) and a position for retracting the flaps. The cylindrical member (9) constitutes means for closing the other admission pipe (14).

    Abstract: The latch is of the type comprising a case 1 for the latch mechanism 6 and a keeper 4 which is movable relative to this case. The latch mechanism 6 comprises a forked bolt 7 for hooking onto the keeper, a shifting lever 16 for, in a first position thereof, retaining the bolt 7 in its hooking position and, in a second position thereof, releasing this bolt so as to permit the opening of the latch, and an electric actuating device which is adapted, by means of a motor 34 and a transmission 31, 33, to determine the two positions of said shifting lever 16. There are provided a device 29 for accumulating mechanical energy and loaded by the transmission 31, 33, a retaining device 22, 23 for retaining the shifting lever 16 in its first position and a striker device 28 adapted to retract the retaining device 22, 23 when the mechanical energy accumulating device 29 is controlled for releasing its mechanical energy and thus allow the movement of the shifting lever 16 to its second position for releasing the latch 7.

An actuating lever (9) of the latch structure is adapted to allow the rotation of the bolt in the direction for releasing the keeper through a locking member (12) interposed between the bolt and the actuating lever. The locking member (12) is movable in one of two elements (7) consisting of the bolt and the actuating lever between a projecting position for rendering the two elements rigid with each other and a retracted position for allowing the free movement of rotation of the bolt relative to the actuating lever.

A barrel 14 actuated by a key carries a locking cam 32 which, on one hand, actuates a bistable relay of the general electric supply circuit, and, on the other hand, forms an abutment 34 for stopping the pivoting of the lever 6. This cam may be shifted by means of the key so as to retract the abutment 34 and enable the lever to pivot until the linkage is brought into action for mechanically opening the latch.

The linkage comprises transmission elements 21, 26, 27 which are exclusively mounted in translation in the body 1 and include at least one motion direction changing device 27.

A device is provided in the case for interrupting the supply of current to the motor and consequently stopping the rotation of the wheel after the locking of the operating device by the locking device but before the unlocking of the locking device.

The locking device also comprises at least one second abutment surface, a stop member movably mounted in the support and a control member for moving and withdrawing the stop member. The second abutment surface is capable, under the action of said torque, of bearing against the stop member until it is withdrawn by the control member to release the locking device.
