Abstract: A hemostasis valve employs flexible members to constrict or unconstrict a collapsible gasket to close or open the valve. The hemostasis valve comprises a main housing, a rolling housing rotatable relative to the main housing, and a gasket disposed in the rolling housing. A plurality of flexible members is arranged to constrict the gasket when the rolling housing is in a first position thereby collapsing the gasket to close or narrow the lumen of the gasket, and unconstrict the gasket when the rolling housing is in a second position thereby allowing the lumen of the gasket to open.
Abstract: A thrombectomy device includes a coring member configured to disintegrate a thrombus in a vessel into fragments from a proximal side of the thrombus and a catch member configured to be anchored at a distal side of the thrombus to provide embolic protection. The coring member and the catch member are operable independently of each other. Methods of removing a thrombus from a vessel employ a rotating coring device to disintegrate the thrombus into fragments.

Abstract: A lithotripsy device includes an elongate body comprising a distal tip portion having an end surface that forms a non-zero angle with a longitudinal axis of the elongate body, a balloon circumferentially around a portion of the elongate body enclosing the end surface of the tip portion defining an interior configured to receive a fluid, and at least one emitter positioned at the end surface of the tip portion of the elongate body. The at least one emitter is configured to generate pressure waves in the fluid propagating through the balloon to disintegrate a calcified lesion. A method of using a lithotripsy device is also provided.
Abstract: A catheter includes an elongate tubular body having a side wall defining a lumen extending between a proximal region and a distal region. The distal region comprises a tip portion capable of deflecting away from the proximal region when the tip portion is unconstrained, thereby forming a curved shape of the tip portion. The side wall of the elongate tubular body axially terminates at the tip portion with a slant cut, thereby forming an end surface of the tip portion defining an opening in a non-circular shape.
