Patent number: 5186497Abstract: A telephone directory holder and binder spine is designed for use with telephone enclosures. The directory holder comprises a separable directory holder unit which may be inserted in a directory at a site distant from the binder spine which is fixed to the telephone enclosure. The holder unit further comprises cables spanning first and second cable holders. The cable is releasable at one end from a holder to permit individual cable placement within the directory. Engagement of the first and second cable holders with the binder spine secures the holder unit with directory to the binder spine. Pre-placement of the directory holder unit within the directory at an off-site location is thus provided to enhance directory replacement.Type: GrantFiled: October 15, 1991Date of Patent: February 16, 1993Assignee: Acoustics Development CorporationInventor: Stevens Van Pinkerton, Jr.

Patent number: 4396176Abstract: A security mounting for a coin telephone includes a mounting member having a plurality of mounting openings and a frame positioned about the area of the mounting member having the openings. A telephone enclosure is positioned within the frame and has security studs which interlock with the mounting openings. The telephone enclosure is smaller in one dimension than the opening formed by the frame, thus permitting the enclosure to be installed and the security studs interlocked with the mounting openings. A locking bar is positioned within the frame and fills the space formed by the difference in dimension between the frame and telephone enclosure. A telephone mounting cover encloses the frame and locking bar and has an opening extending peripherally about the telephone enclosure.Type: GrantFiled: February 12, 1981Date of Patent: August 2, 1983Assignee: Acoustics Development CorporationInventor: Leslie A. Patent number: 4152874Abstract: A telephone booth construction utilizes a telephone mounting bracket and a telephone mounting cover. There are multiple screw holes in both the mounting bracket and the mounting cover and the holes are so arranged that the mounting bracket may be attached in two different positions on a wall of the booth. The mounting cover which has a telephone mounting opening may similarly be attached in two different positions on the mounting bracket, which different positions involve only the reversal of the mounting cover and provide for two different mounting heights for the telephone.Type: GrantFiled: February 10, 1978Date of Patent: May 8, 1979Assignee: Acoustics Development CorporationInventor: Edward S.
