Patent number: 11894689Abstract: The power supply system of the present invention includes a wireless electricity transmitter and a wireless electricity receiver transmitting electricity by electromagnetic coupling. The wireless electricity receiver is further connected to a vibrator of a vibrating processing apparatus to transmit electricity thereto. The wireless electricity transmitter has a controller to monitor the operating voltage and the operating current of the transmitter, and alternates the oscillation frequency of the operating voltage according to the phase difference between the operating voltage and the operating current. Thereby, the oscillation frequency may approach the resonance frequency of the vibrator in order to improve the efficiency of electricity transmission. Also, the distance between the wireless electricity transmitter and the wireless electricity receiver can be increased.Type: GrantFiled: February 22, 2021Date of Patent: February 6, 2024Assignee: ACROW MACHINERY MANUFACTURING CO., LTD.Inventors: Chao-Ching Lee, Chia-Hsin Lai, Yung-Chun Wu

Patent number: 4912795Abstract: A prefabricated modular unit construction bridging system in which all components are identical and interchangeable to meet any variation of span, width of roadway, number of lanes of traffic, and live load specification for any temporary, semi-permanent, or permanent bridge. The bridge is capable of being dismantled and the individual modular components used elsewhere to form a new bridge. The panels, when connected end-to-end to form the main load-bearing trusses of the bridge side girders, are of such a shape that they can be pinned together at their bottom chord level to support the standard cross-beams and modular deck units/bracing throughout the bridge and provide gaps between adjacent panels at their top chord level into which can be pinned other standard chord units of such a length calculated to eliminate entirely both the natural pin-hole deflection inherent in 2-pinned modular truss structures and the elastic deflection under dead load.Type: GrantFiled: September 6, 1988Date of Patent: April 3, 1990Assignee: Acrow Corporation of AmericaInventor: John R. Patent number: 4405254Abstract: The invention relates to scaffolding in which the uprights have sockets projecting outwardly at spaced positions along their length, the horizontal cross members of the scaffolding having spigots to engage in the sockets, a captive wedge being provided to cause the spigots to be clamped against the socket or upright. Such scaffolding in accordance with the invention is arranged so that in use the spigot is inserted into a socket and the wedge acts between the outside surface of the socket on the surface of the cross member tightly to draw the spigot against the corresponding inside surface of the socket. The "lower" narrower end of the wedge is formed or provided with a projection which, when the wedge is moved upwardly relative to the cross member it wedges against the surface of the cross member to hold the wedge in the withdrawn "uppermost" position so that the spigot can readily be removed from the socket.Type: GrantFiled: June 11, 1981Date of Patent: September 20, 1983Assignee: Acrow LimitedInventor: Jack R. Patent number: 4244476Abstract: Locking means for racking of the type comprising metal uprights having sockets, e.g. pressed out of a web portion, and beams the ends of which are provided with hooks to engage in the sockets of the upright. The locking means comprises a magnet which is attached to the metal upright and positioned between a stop on the metal upright and an abutment surface on a beam to prevent upward movement of the beam and disengagement of the hooks.Type: GrantFiled: June 27, 1979Date of Patent: January 13, 1981Assignee: Acrow (Automation) LimitedInventor: Alexander R. Patent number: 4234156Abstract: A tie bar for use in positioning forms into which a suitable material such as concrete may be poured comprises a metal bar having a central portion and two end portions. The end portions are intended to be broken away from the central portion at a stress concentrating notch after the concrete has set. A pair of moulded members are moulded directly to the central portion of the bar each of which moulded members comprises at least two flanges extending outwardly from the bar and spaced apart to accommodate a reinforcing rod. The tie is also fitted with two conical spacers which extend axially outwardly from the moulded members and which are conical having the largest diameter facing axially outward to support the form and prevent inward movement of the forms. In one preferred embodiment of the invention the conical spacers are separate from the moulded members. In a second preferred embodiment the conical spacers are integral with the moulded members.Type: GrantFiled: April 24, 1979Date of Patent: November 18, 1980Assignee: Acrow-Richmond LimitedInventor: Alfred Wepf

Patent number: 4056254Abstract: A fitment for a prop, comprising a head plate, which is connected to the prop body of a standard builder's prop, or to a base plate which is intended for connection to a head plate of a standard prop, by a shank, the shank carrying a support tube and a shuttering element support member, the support tube being rotatable around the shank and the support tube or shank being provided with a screw thread engaging with a correspondingly screwed nut secured to, or forming part of, the shank or support tube respectively, the arrangement being such that rotation of the support tube around the shank raises or lowers the support tube relative to the head plate, the shuttering element support being positioned between the head plate and the support tube, the arrangement being such that the shuttering element support is supported by the support tube in one angular position of the support tube relative to the shank and, in a second angular or "strip" position thereof, being free to slide over the support tube.Type: GrantFiled: January 19, 1976Date of Patent: November 1, 1977Assignee: Acrow (Engineers) LimitedInventor: Jack Raymond Tooley
