Abstract: A wireless communication method includes establishing a first communication link between a source device and a first device, switching a second device into a shadow device of the first device after obtaining link information of the first communication link by the second device, and interacting the second device with the first device through the first communication link. A wireless communication is further provided. By adopting technical solutions above, a communication connection mode between multiple devices is simplified, and wireless communication between multiple devices is further realized.

Abstract: A stamped resistive element for use in electrical equipment, manufacturing process of stamped resistive element and apparatus equipped with stamped resistive element are provided. The stamped resistive element is produced from a stamping process and is intended to be used in replacement of conventional helical electrical resistances, whether in hair dryers and similar equipment or in other types of heating equipment. The stamped resistive element is produced as a blank from a metal sheet presenting a known resistive coefficient.

Abstract: An exemplary remote controller for a mobile internet device includes a remote control module, a center control module, and a wireless transmitter. The mobile internet device includes a wireless receiver disposed therein. The remote control module generates a control signal. The center control module determines whether the control signal is legal. The transmitter reads out a wireless data from the control signal and transmits to the wireless receiver. A remote control system and method thereof are also provided.

Abstract: The invention discloses a portable media player for playing DVD and IPOD including a base (1) defining a first docking bay (3) for a DVD host and a second docking bay (4) for a IPOD, a cover (2) with a display attached to the base, and a locking device (5) attached at the base for obstructing the detachment of the IPOD. The locking device includes a through hole (7), a resilient piece (8), and a protruding member (9). The base has a rotating shaft (6) and a groove (10). When the resilient piece is engaged into the groove, the protruding member is adjacent to the IPOD and obstructs the detachment of the IPOD.

Abstract: A method of combining personal media files with a digital map has (a) obtaining original information including a tracking information and multiple personal media files; (b) matching each media file to the corresponding tracking coordinates and recording matched points; (c) generating a displaying program codes to display a tracking pattern and media file on a browser; and (d) packing the matched media files, the tracking information and the generating the displaying program codes to HTML/MHTML format file. Therefore, the user generates the HTML/MHTML format file by the local computer and IE browser directly executes the HTML/MHTML format file to play the personal media files without other plug-in software.

Abstract: A method to protect digital rights using an OMA DRM standard has acts of generating an encryption key and an ID unique to a user and a decryption key, encrypting the digital content using the encryption key into an encrypted object, packaging the ID and the decryption key into a rights object, delivering the ID and the encrypted object to the user's mobile device, delivering the rights object to the user's mobile device, verifying ID delivered with the encrypted object and ID in the rights object and decrypting the encrypted object. The method replaces assigning a conventional identifier to each digitized content with assigning each user a unique ID. For either the rental service or the purchase service all downloaded content in the user's mobile device is accessible based on the same rights object to improve unreasonably receiving so many rights objects for each downloaded digital content.

Abstract: A method and system for detecting a mobile model are provided. The system gathers model IDs by receiving a customized massage from a sender and then storing the model ID, issuing a WAP PUSH message containing an access URL to a mobile station, receiving a request with a UserAgent attached and mobile phone number from a mobile station, adding a new record of the mobile phone number and its corresponding UserAgent into a ID database when the UserAgent is not in the mapping table.

Abstract: A redundant link management switch for use in a stack of switches forming a closed-loop link topology, including a stacking module, a processor and a management module. The stacking module has an uplink port for connecting a next-higher switch in the stack and a downlink port for connecting a next-lower switch in the stack. The processor instructs the stacking module to disable a downlink control bus within the downlink port when receiving a disconnect command, and instructs the stacking module to enable the downlink control bus when receiving a reconnect command. The management module asserts the disconnect command if a link status, received from the processor, indicates that the redundant link management switch and the stack of switches are stacked into the closed-loop link topology. Additionally, the management module asserts the reconnect command to recover a redundant link if the management module detects that the closed-loop link topology is changed.

Abstract: A method and system of transmitting electronic files over to a mobile phone is disclosed. The system introduces a personalized service by allowing the sender of an electronic file to add a personalized note to the WAP PUSH message, such that the receiver of the WAP PUSH message can be well informed of the motive and the identity of the sender behind the electronic file and use the routing information to retrieve the electronic file; and later the sender can receive a confirmation message from the network server after the receiver has successfully downloaded the electronic file. For the sender of electronic file, the personal message can be clearly expressed without causing any confusion for the receiver, which is largely lacking from current download services.

Abstract: A modified data synchronization system having data security and proxy capabilities has a delivery server, a PC, and at least one mobile phone. The PC sends out the exchange data through the Internet to a remote location where the delivery server is installed, and then one mobile phone compliant with SyncML protocols dials in to conduct data synchronization with the delivery server through wireless means, through which the existing data discrepancy between the mobile phone and the PC can be eliminated. The PC does not need to install a dedicated SyncML server, and data security can be ensured in the synchronization process, as data transfer between the PC and the delivery server through secured protocol over the Internet, and that between the mobile phone and the delivery server is through a dedicated channel.

Abstract: A system for analyzing and structuring business processes implemented in software to provides businesses with tools to manage business processes. The system i) notifies the user that he or she has a step to begin or to complete; ii) provides the user with the proper tools to complete a task; iii) provides the user with the proper information to complete a task; iv) allows the user to see where a task fits in the overall process; v) manages proper reminders, alerts, and follow-ups to keep the process moving; vi) automates certain standard procedures; vii) integrates with the organization's existing business systems; and viii) provides application program interfaces that allow developers to develop applications that are workflow-enabled. The system utilizes a workflow server including a transactions manager and a database.
