    Abstract: A power supply system and method for a mobile medical workstation are provided herein. A charger is configured to receive AC input from a mains power source and generate a DC output. A battery is configured to be charged by the DC output. The battery is further configured to supply electrical power to a computing device of the mobile medical workstation when the charger is disconnected from the mains power source. The ratio of a runtime of the battery to a charge time of the battery is at least 30 to 1.
