Patent number: 6497396Abstract: A fastening device for supporting various objects on a brick wall, block wall, tile wall or a wall having grooves therein, wherein the fastening device may comprise a clip member and a mounting member, wherein the clip member has a first arm portion, a second arm portion, an intermediate portion and a biasing mechanism, and wherein the mounting member extends downward from the clip member and may take the form of an S-shaped hook member. Alternatively, the mounting member may include a cam member. The fastening device may also be provided with a plurality of tangs on the exterior of the clip member and a living hinge that connects the first and second arm portions of the clip member. To accommodate different sizes of mortar joints the clip member may include a notch that allows for the alteration of the clip member to fit within different sizes of mortar joints. Another embodiment may include a second mounting member.Type: GrantFiled: November 22, 2000Date of Patent: December 24, 2002Assignee: Adams Manufacturing Corp.Inventor: William E. Adams

Patent number: 6443074Abstract: A table having a base including legs, first and second table top portions that form a table top surface when the table is in the assembled position, and pivotable connectors that connect the first and second table top portions to the base. The pivotable connectors allow for the first and second table top portions and the legs to collapse into a vertical position such that the table can be easily stored and carried. The table top is supported when it is in assembled position by a variety of devices such that the table top will not flex or deform. Pivotable connections are also provided between the legs allowing the legs to form a crisscross pattern when the table is in the assembled position.Type: GrantFiled: January 6, 2000Date of Patent: September 3, 2002Assignee: Adams Manufacturing Corp.Inventors: William E. Adams, David M. Fountain, Theodore Bloom

Patent number: 4559594Abstract: Electrostatic air cleaner apparatus is disclosed for use in conjunction with existing space conditioning apparatus which includes a transformer providing a low voltage (typically 24VAC) power signal. The apparatus includes a power supply which is adapted to be coupled to the output of the transformer for providing a low voltage DC power signal. A high voltage generator and regulator is included which is powered by the low voltage DC power signal. The generator and regulator includes a flyback transformer arrangement which generates a high voltage DC signal suitable for energizing the collector and ionizer stages of an air cleaner assembly. The generator and regulator also includes closed loop feedback for regulating the amplitude of the high voltage DC signal so that it remains at or near the optimum amplitude regardless of variations in the amplitude of the low voltage power signal supplied by the existing low voltage transformer.Type: GrantFiled: November 25, 1983Date of Patent: December 17, 1985Assignee: Adams Manufacturing CompanyInventors: Lawrence M.
