    Abstract: A rocking chair has a seat, a back attached to the seat, a right rocker, at least one right leg connected to the seat and to the right rocker, a left rocker and at least one left leg connected to the seat and to the left rocker. The rockers each have a base having an inside edge and an outside edge the base having a slope such that when the rocking chair is placed on a flat surface a portion of the inside edge will be in contact with the flat surface and the outside edge will not be in contact will the flat surface. The rockers may alternatively or additionally each have an inwardly curving center portion. These features alone or in combination can prevent the rockers from splaying outward when a weight is dropped on the chair or while a person is rocking the chair.

    Abstract: A clip for hanging decorative lights from the eaves of a house has an elongated C-shaped body. This body has an intermediate curved section extending between two ends that curve inwardly. A hook is attached to the outside surface of the intermediate curved section. The elongated body is made of a flexible plastic having a memory such that the curved ends may be moved away from one another by a force acting on at least one of the distal ends. When the force is removed the memory will cause the distal ends of the clip to move together. The inward curvature enables the curved ends to unravel to some extent. The combination of the unraveling of the ends and the flexing of the curved intermediate portion enables this clip to fit onto eaves ranging in width from ? inch to over two inches without breaking.

    Abstract: A lightweight molded plastic Adirondack chair has front legs which each have an inner side wall that slopes inward. A pair of side walls each extends from and along a front leg, along the side edge of the seat and along a rear leg. The side walls vary in height along their length and are tallest adjacent a transition from the side edge of the seat to the rear leg. A front slat extends from the front edge of the seat and between the front legs forming an arch with the front legs. An arm support extends from each front leg to the front of the arm above that leg. The arm supports extend forward relative to the seat. These structural features improve the strength of the chair such that most portions of the chair can be thinner resulting is a chair that weighs less than 6 pounds.

An optional shelf that fits within the planter body for storage and is attached to the legs when the planter is assembled may also be provided.

    Abstract: A clip for holding decorative lights has a clamp portion and a light holding portion connected by a bridge. The light holding portion and the bridge lie in a common plane and are formed as a unitary plastic body. The clamp portion has a leg tapered at one end and a second end which is connected to a bridge portion that holds the bridge and is connected to a clamping arm forming a corner which has an opening. A hook is provided on the end of the arm which defines a space of sufficient size to receive a rope light. The arm and the hook are sized and configured so that the leg and the hook can engage opposite surfaces of the roofing shingle. The light holding portion can be broken away from the clamp portion. Then the two pieces can be connected together in a different configuration.
