Publication number: 20240353576Abstract: This invention describes a Spatial Intelligence System that provide radio positioning/navigation with additional spatial data in support of automation, machine learning and inference-based systems. More specifically and in particular, the present invention, is such a radio positioning/navigation system that integrates, correlates with or obviates the need of the global navigation satellite systems (GNSS) with a Pulsed Wireless Location System (PWLS) to provide positioning/navigation/timing data either within a line-of-sight barrier using an ad-hoc coordinate system, a direct line of sight of GNSS beacon geographic coordinate system or a ad-hoc translation to geographic coordinate system. The system generically offers the ability to use a low cost tag or location device with anchor processing or a higher cost, higher capability tag or location device with local processing simultaneously.Type: ApplicationFiled: June 28, 2024Publication date: October 24, 2024Applicant: ADAPT IP COMPANYInventors: Philip Thrasher Kennedy, Joseph Alvin Gerke

Publication number: 20230273288Abstract: Techniques for efficient and accurate data collection employing many sensors distributed over an area is disclosed. The many data collection and transmission devices transmit the data in a novel manner that is the combination of a set of digital data packets which convey the data, integrated with a set of analog packets that enable the receiver to determine the distance between the transmitter and the receiver is disclosed. The receivers of this data are arranged so that they can receive each broadcast sample, and distributed geographically so that tri angulation techniques can be used to precisely locate each transmitter. Highly accurate clocks located only in the receivers are used to timestamp the acquired data. This design of the combination data packet enables use of inexpensive sensors to collect high quality data with accurate two and three-dimensional location and time stamps provided by the network of receivers.Type: ApplicationFiled: July 29, 2021Publication date: August 31, 2023Applicant: ADAPT IP COMPANYInventors: Michael MCNAMARA, Philip T.
