Responsive to the user switching to a second device or appliance while the recipe is in progress, presenting recipe information on the second device or appliance based on the version of the progress and state of the recipe maintained in the recipe framework, where the second device or appliance obtains the version of the progress and state from the recipe framework. The recipe was generated by one or more machine-learning algorithms.
