Abstract: A telecommunications patch panel, including a frame member including a plurality of connector module mounts; and a plurality of connector modules, each being coupled to one of said mounts in one of a plurality of positions about an axis of rotation, wherein a first side of each connector module of said modules includes a plurality first of connector jacks in electrical communication with a second connector jack coupled to an opposite facing second side of the module
Abstract: The invention relates to a plug-in connector (1) for telecommunications and data technology for the purpose of connecting a symmetrical data cable, the plug-in connector (1) comprising an electrically insulating plug-in connector housing (2) as well as first contacts (8) and second contacts (7), contact being made with a plurality of core pairs of a symmetrical data cable by means of the first contacts, and it being possible for an electrical contact to be produced with the contacts of a complementary plug-in connector by means of the second contacts, in each case two first contacts being assigned to a core pair, and a second contact being assigned to each first contact, the first contacts being DC-connected to their associated second contacts, in each case one common-mode filter arrangement being assigned to all of the core pairs.
Abstract: A fiber optic enclosure for enclosing optical fiber connections includes a housing, a bulkhead, and a cover assembly. The housing has a base and a first sidewall oppositely disposed from a second sidewall. The base and the first and second sidewalls, which extend outwardly from the base, define an interior region with an open-front portion and an open-side portion. The bulkhead is disposed in the interior region of the housing. The cover assembly has a first cover plate that has a first end portion pivotally engaged with the housing and a second end portion pivotally engaged with a second cover plate. The first cover plate closes the open-side portion of the housing and the second cover plate closes at least a portion of the open-front portion of the housing when the cover assembly is in a closed position.
Abstract: The invention relates to a distribution cabinet which is usually set up outdoors and accommodates the technical, for example electrical or optical, distribution installations for, for example, weak-current systems, for example telephone systems, with associated power-supply devices and cable-terminal/connection devices for a certain area, and also to a method for exchanging, in particular increasing the size of, the body of a distribution cabinet, the exchange of which body is unproblematical and with which method the distribution cabinet remains at the original location and consequently no new installation approval or construction approval is necessary.
Abstract: The invention relates to a distribution module for converting between symmetric and non-symmetric data transmission paths. Said distribution module comprises a housing in which a transformer is arranged for adjusting impedance, first contacts for connecting at least one non-symmetric data cable, and second contacts for connecting at least one symmetric data cable. The first and second contacts are disposed on opposite faces of the housing. The second contacts are embodied as at least one RJ45 plug-in connector.

Abstract: An upgradeable patch panel assembly and associated method of upgrading a patch panel assembly. The upgradeable patch panel assembly including a panel base having an aperture sized to receive a scanner interface cable. The method including removing a first cover from the panel base, inserting a scanner interface cable through the existing aperture in the panel base, and attached an upgraded cover to the panel base. Upgrading the patch panel assembly is completed while the assembly remains mounted to a frame and without disconnecting rear cable connections. The upgraded patch panel assembly provides jack-occupancy monitoring capabilities.
