    Abstract: A splice tray arrangement including a tray and a splice chip. The splice chip includes a plurality of arms that define channels for holding splice elements. The arms include retaining structure for retaining a splice element in both of either one of an upper region and a lower region of a channel. The splice tray arrangement also includes a mounting arrangement for securing the splice chip to the tray at a mounting location. The mounting arrangement includes sliding interlock guides disposed on each of the splice chip and the tray. The mounting arrangement further includes flexible tabs arranged to prevent lateral movement of the splice chip when positioned at the mounting location.

    Abstract: Couplers for a cable trough system including a spacing defined by first and second guiding surfaces, the spacing being sized to receive the terminal end of a trough member into the spacing. One or more springs are carried on the couplers and may be at least partially disposed within the spacing between the first and the second guiding surfaces. The springs urge the terminal end of the trough member against the coupler upon insertion of the terminal end into the spacing. One or more locking elements are coupled adjacent to the springs to move between a locking position and a released position. The locking elements may slide longitudinally or move perpendicularly to the couplers. A first trough member may be released from the couplers independent from a second trough member coupled to the couplers. Methods for use of the couplers are also provided.

    Abstract: A fiber optic connector assembly includes a fiber optic connector mounted to a fiber optic cable having a ferrule with an end face terminating an optical fiber. The fiber optic cable is terminated with the fiber optic connector in a clean environment protected against airborne contaminants. A seal is placed about the ferrule within the clean environment to protect the polished end face of the ferrule including the end of the optical fiber against airborne contaminants. The seal is removable to make a fiber optic communications linkage without cleaning the end face of the optical ferrule.

The triaxial connector assembly includes a connector with a housing defining a first end and a second end, the first end of the housing defining a triaxial interface adapted to mate with a triaxial connector, the second end of the housing defining a cable termination end. The connector also includes the media converter positioned within the housing, the media converter configured to convert fiber signals and electrical signals carried by a hybrid fiber optic/electrical cable to a coaxial signal carried forward by the triaxial interface. A camera system using the connector and a method of terminating a hybrid cable to a triaxial connector are also disclosed.

The present invention further relates to an output power assembly with inner and outer faces, a first set of terminals on the outer face which are electrically connected to a common conductor along the inner face and a second set of terminals each having individual connectors along the inner face, the individual connectors being offset from each adjacent connector.
