Abstract: A modular vehicle seating system includes a vehicle body (70, 72) with vehicle interior connection features (60, 62, 64) and a modular vehicle seating insert. The seating insert comprises a shell structure (10. 10?, 10?) to be received within the vehicle body. The shell structure has a vehicle body facing surface and a vehicle interior facing surface, wherein the vehicle interior facing surface defines seat module receiving portions (12, 14). Vehicle connection features (80, 82, 84) are operatively provided at a side of the vehicle body facing surface of the shell structure for cooperation with the vehicle interior connection features to fix the shell structure to the vehicle body. Seat module connection features (40) are associated with each of the seat module receiving portions. The system further includes one or more seat module (90), each with a seat base (94) and a seat clamping connector (91, 92, 92).

Abstract: A seat lifter structure which can maintain the engagement of the gear of the sector and the pinion of the brake unit and prevent a fall down of the seat back to a front side, even when a large force to a front side is exerted with respect to the seat back is provided. It raises or lowers a cushion seat (ST1) by raising or lowering a side frame (2) built into the cushion seat (ST1) with respect to a fixing member (61).

Abstract: A retractable interface assembly includes a base member defining a track and a track follower support member engaging the track and moving along the track between a retracted position and an extended position. A viewing angle detent mechanism pivotably connects an interface panel to the track follower support member and defines a plurality of angular positions of the interface panel relative to the track follower support member, including a storage angle position and a full up angle position, to fix the interface panel relative to the track follower support member in one of the plurality of angular positions. A position setting device sets a position of the track follower support member along the track of the base member. The set positions include the retracted position and the extended position of the track follower support member along the track of the base member.

Abstract: A vehicle seat is provided including a seat base, a seatback and a seatback recline pivot pivotably supporting the seatback relative to the seat base for pivoting movement of the seatback relative to the seat base about the seatback recline pivot, between a full upright position and a full recline position. An armrest is provided having an upper armrest upper surface. An armrest to seatback recline pivot connection pivotably connects the armrest to the seatback recline pivot for pivoting movement of the seatbackarmrest relative to the seat base about the seatback recline pivot, between an armrest full upright position and an armrest full recline position.
Abstract: A vehicle seat assembly is provided including a back panel formed of an aluminum alloy material that is stamped to form an aluminum alloy stamped back panel. The aluminum alloy stamped back panel has a periphery and with fastening locations inwardly of the periphery. A backrest frame is provided comprising steel tubes. A plurality of fastening connections fix the back panel to the backrest frame at the fastening locations. A process is provided for forming a vehicle seat assembly including stamping an aluminum alloy sheet to form an aluminum alloy, stamped, back panel with a periphery and with fastening locations inwardly of the periphery, providing a backrest frame comprising steel tubes, providing a plurality of steel fasteners and fixing the aluminum alloy stamped back panel to the backrest frame with the fasteners at the fastening locations.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a seat ventilation system for deployment in a seat of a vehicle. Specifically, the seat ventilation system includes a three-dimensional mesh for maintenance of airflow channels and a ductless blower system to prevent system pressure loss. The air-permeable three-dimensional scaffold prevents compression and closure of pad-based airflow channels. The blower system reduces system air pressure loss by residing adjacent to the volume of interest, eliminating the need for ductwork.

Abstract: A cable actuator system includes an actuating cable for connection to an actuator and to an actuatable device and a bypass assembly connected to the actuating cable. The bypass assembly includes a bypass input with a first input position and with a second input position. With the bypass input in the first input position the bypass assembly acts on the cable such that an actuating movement of the cable by the actuator moves the cable an actuating distance at the actuatable device to actuate the actuatable device. With the bypass input in the second input position the bypass assembly acts on the cable such that the actuating movement of the cable by the actuator does not move the cable the actuating distance at the actuatable device. A vehicle seat, with a seat base, a backrest, an actuator, and a vehicle seat actuatable device, also includes the cable actuator system.
