Abstract: The invention relates to tetrapeptide derivatives of the general formula ##STR1## in which R represents a hydrogen atom, a straight-chain or branched alkyl radical containing from 1 to 5 carbon atoms, optionally substituted by a hydroxy, amino, mercapto, methylthio, methylsulphoxide, carboxy or guanidino group, or a benzyl or indol-3-ylmethyl radical optionally substituted by a hydroxy group,R.sub.1 represents a hydrogen atom or an alkyl group containing from 1 to 4 carbon atoms, ##STR2## represents a nitrogenous polycyclic structure, the enantiomers, epimers and diastereoisomers thereof, as well as to the pharmaceutically acceptable acid or base addition salts thereof.

Abstract: Benzodioxine compounds of the formula: ##STR1## in which Het is a five- or six-membered heterocyclic radical containing from one to three hetero atoms, and from one to three double bonds, optionally substituted by one or more alkyl or alkoxy radicals each from C.sub.1 to C.sub.5.These compounds and physiologically tolerable acid addition salts thereof may be used as medicines, especially in the treatment of psychoses.

Abstract: New thieno[2,3-b] pyrrole compounds of the formula: ##STR1## in which: R.sub.1 is hydrogen or lower alkyl,R.sub.2 is cyano, carboxy, COOM in which M is alkali alkaline-earth metal, ammonium mono-, di-, or tri-, (C.sub.1 -C.sub.5) alkylammonium optionally substituted by hydroxy, COOR in which R is lower alkyl, or ##STR2## in which R' and R" are hydrogen or lower alkyl; R.sub.3 is lower alkyl; andR.sub.4 is lower alkyl, phenyl, halophenyl, lower alkylphenyl, lower alkoxy-phenyl nitrophenyl and di-lower-alkylamino,and enatiomers thereof.These new compounds may be used as medicines especially in the treatment of acute and chronic pains.

Abstract: New oxaazaphosphorine compounds corresponding to the formula: ##STR1## in which R is alkyl, cycloalkyl or alkoxy,phenyl, phenylalkyl, phenoxy or thiophenoxy in which the phenyl ring may be substituted by alkyl or alkoxy or by halogen.mono- or di-alkylamino optionally mono- or di-substituted by halogen, orpyrrolidinyl, piperidyl or morpholinyl or optionally substituted piperazinyl.These compounds may be used for antineoplastic therapy especially in the treatment of tumors.

Abstract: Xanthine compounds of the formula: ##STR1## in which: R.sub.1 is hydrogen or (C.sub.1 -C.sub.5) alkyl;R.sub.2 is hydrogen, (C.sub.1 -C.sub.5) alkyl optionally having a double bond, or benzyl;R.sub.3 is hydrogen or methyl;A is (CH.sub.2).sub.n, in which n is an integer from 1 to 4, optionally substituted, when n is higher than 1, by hydroxy;X is nitrogen or ##STR2## and the substituents R are each (C.sub.1 -C.sub.5) alkyl or they form together a polymethylene chain from C.sub.4 to C.sub.6, optionally containing an oxygen or a sulfur atom.These compounds and physiologically tolerable acid addition salts thereof may be used as medicines especially in the treatment of migraine and asthenia.

Abstract: Disubstituted polymethylene imines of the formula: ##STR1## in which: A is a straight or branched chain (C.sub.3 -C.sub.5) hydrocarbon containing radical optionally containing one or two double bond and optionally substituted by one or more hydroxy;n is zero, one or two;Z is oxygen or NH; andR is:either COR', in which R' is:(a) a straight or branched chain (C.sub.1 -C.sub.6), hydrocarbon containing radical, optionally containing one oxygen or sulfen or a double bond and optionally substituted by phenyl or substituted phenyl; or(b) phenyl, halophenyl, lower alkoxyphenyl, (di-or-tri-methylene) dioxyphenyl or;(c) furyl, thienyl, benzofuryl, benzothienyl or benzodioxannyl; or(d) ##STR2## in which R.sub.1 and R.sub.2 are hydrogen or lower alkyl or ##STR3## is a five or six membered heterocyclic radical which may contain an oxygen;or--SO.sub.2 R" in which R" is (C.sub.1 -C.sub.3) alkyl or phenyl.

Abstract: The invention relates to a method for preventing or treating renal insufficiency with a composition containing as active ingredient 8-(3-tert.-butylamino-2-hydroxypropoxy)thiachroman, or one of the addition salts thereof with a mineral or organic acid, in combination or in admixture with an inert pharmaceutically acceptable, non-toxic excipient or carrier.

Abstract: Compounds of the formula: ##STR1## in which: R.sub.1 and R.sub.2 each represent, independently of one another, hydrogen, halogen, alkyl or alkoxy having from 1 to 4 carbon atoms, sulphonamide possibly substituted by an alkyl radical having from 1 to 4 carbon atoms; or together methylenedioxy, n is 0 or 1,in racemic form or in the form of optical isomers, and also their salts of addition with pharmaceutically acceptable acids. Abstract: New sulfonylurea compounds of the formula: ##STR1## in which n is 1 or 2,R is thienyl, furyl, pyridyl or phenyl optionally mono or disubstituted,R.sub.1 and R.sub.2, the same or different, each are hydrogen, halogen, (C.sub.1 to C.sub.5)-alkyl, (C.sub.1 to C.sub.5)-alkoxy, or trifluoromethyl, or together represent --CH.sub.2 --O--CH.sub.2 --,R.sub.3 is hydrogen, or hydroxy, andR.sub.4 is (C.sub.1 to C.sub.5)-alkyl, (C.sub.3 to C.sub.8)-cycloalkyl or azacycloalkyl of the formula: ##STR2## in which p is zero or an integer from 1 to 5, or azabicycloalkyl of the formula: ##STR3## in which m is 1, 2, or 3. These new compounds and physiologically tolerable salts thereof may be used as medicines especially in the treatment of diabetes.
