    Abstract: An assembly to deform metal parts by magnetic pulse includes an induction coil having branches connected to a power supply. The branches extend adjacent to one another to define a slot. An active portion of the coil connected to the first and second branches, an active surface of the active portion being arranged opposite a part to be deformed. The assembly includes an integral mask cooperating in a detachable manner with all or a portion of the coil when the mask is in an operating position on the coil. The mask having a shape that is at least partially complementary to the shape of the coil such that when it is in the operating position, a first portion of the mask is inserted into the slot and a second portion of the mask covers the active surface of the coil. The mask being made of an electrically insulating material.

    Abstract: A hybrid method for forming a material blank includes placing a material blank to be deformed between a die and a blank-holder. The material blank is deformed by stamping using at least one punch in order to obtain a pre-stamped material blank. A cavity, wherein, on one hand, the at least one punch having pre-stamped the material blank and, on the other, at least one pair of electrodes are located, is filled with liquid. The pre-stamped material blank is placed in contact with the liquid of the cavity, and at least one electrical discharge is generated between the at least one pair of electrodes in such a way as to deform the pre-stamped material blank against the die.

    Abstract: The present invention relates to a pulsed radio frequency therapy system adapted to project the beam onto the skin surface of a living body overlying a problem region, the beam serving to relieve pain and to obtain other health related beneficial effects. The system includes an energy-generating unit in which a radio-frequency carrier is over-modulated by a sonic signal to produce periodic bursts of radio-frequency energy whose repetition rate corresponds to the frequency of the signal. The output of the unit is fed to a tank circuit tuned to the carrier frequency and housed within the barrel of a portable applicator gun. Supported within the barrel and coupled to the tank circuit is a discharge electrode whose tip is adjacent to the mouth of the barrel whereby a pulsed radio frequency is projected from the tip. The portable applicator gun includes automated applicator coil tuning, automated coil protection, and a phase-up conditioning system.

The method also includes defining a plurality of brain condition classes using the image data associated with one or more time frames during the acquisition period, and processing the image data to generate signatures corresponding to each of the plurality brain condition classes. The method further includes constructing the classifier using the signatures. The classifier can then be applied to determine a degree to which the subject expresses one or more disease states in order to determine a brain condition of the subject.
