Abstract: Animal feed compositions which include a polyol are described. Processes for producing an animal feed composition with a polyol are disclosed. Methods of feeding an animal the polyol are also disclosed.
Abstract: The invention concerns a composition based on a mixture of eugenol and cinnamaldehyde, as food additive for feeding ruminants. The composition may be incorporated in a food additive or a salt block. The eugenol and the cinnamaldehyde may be natural or identical natural constituents. Administering the composition of the food additive increases meat production and milk production.

Abstract: A method is provided for producing animal feed pellets that are made entirely or predominantly of fat. Fats, oils, and waxes with complimentary physical properties also can be included, as can nutrients. Cohesive pellets of high flowability and durability are achieved. The superior handling quality of the pellets allows for their use in further formulation of animal feeds, where homogeneous distribution of nutrients throughout the final feed mix is desired.

Abstract: Methods and compositions for improved ruminant diets are disclosed. The invention relates to the use of metal ion/metal ion salts in ruminant feed, at levels from about 0.25 to about 1 g/kg dry matter, in any ruminant diet, for improvement of bypass protein content, as well as to influence the rate of rumen starch digestion and the flow of starch to the duodenum.
